Winter family holiday was lovely. Weather was really nice the hotel was amazing with the animals and features. Would definitely recommend canât wait to go back in the summer. Only downside is thereâs nothing nearby and itâs a fair way to find any other shops

We have stayed at this hotel two years running and have had two lovely breaks.
We always pay for a sea view and those facing marbella will get the sun. English tv with itv No 10 and plenty of english radio music. We like it because of the room size and views. Take warm jackets as bar area doesnt have enough indoor seating on a night time. It could do with patio heaters on a night outside the bar poolside where we often endup sitting. There is family night time entertainment. One night a parrot show and a magic act. Kids club and bowling ally. Pool tables and crazy golf. Day time entertainment with bingo but to be fare didnt see many joining in. We found the food fine. Lots of choice and one night they had a huge chocolate fountain. Smoked salmon and fresh prawns. If you go four star inclusive at the price they charge you cant expect top notch food.
Public transport is very good and a taxi to the train station costs around 12 euros to benalmadena. There is a closer one in the fungeriloa direction about 2 k away that may be cheper. Malaga on the train is around 6 euros return and will take 30 mins orso. Malage is certainly worth a visit as is Benalmadena Marina and Park. Plenty to do for a five night break. We have been lucky with the weather and had two cloudy days around 18 degrees and two sunny days. If you want to be in the centre of town choose another hotel lthough the buses run every half hour up to 10.30 ish. Indoor spa needs pre booking at a cost of 10 euros and guests must wear a swimming hat providedby hotel.

Arrived Xmas eve for a weeks rest from work and a first away from family this time of year . New it would be isolated and was prepared to travel and was a good position to visit Fuengirola , Mijas , Torremelinos and the wonderful Benalmadena Marina . The Junior suite was perfect for us with plenty of room to relax with British TV stations . All the staff were helpful and happy and the hotel surprisingly clean considering the size . The foyer is different and there are plenty of lifts .
We have been on numerous all inclusive holidays with Thompsonâs and have never had a problem with food or drinks but on arrival we found it difficult to find the bar which was just the pool bar and nowhere comfortable to sit inside nearby . Later in the day it switched to the larger indoor bar but was obviously too small and understaffed . Considering the size of the place they could do better for drink availability.
Saved the food comments to last and other reviews had forwarned us about problems . Personally thought the breakfast was OK and plentiful and was hot enough . Only had lunch twice and dinner once and it was so bad we gave up and eat out . It seemed to be hot enough but was the worse choice we have ever had and some of it was inedible . We were lucky we eat out every day and had some fantastic meals .
Used the indoor pool once and was great once you had booked your slot etc .
Overall a different hotel and experience but with the competition available would never go back .

Good place for children, the girls were great. Rooms lovely and the hotel itself was spectacular. However, organisation of the restaurant was poor, food tepid and everything was with chips!!!. A lot of Spanish at the hotel and they were always given priority.

We have just got back from here on 27th Dec we went for a week. We always go away every new year but never xmas and never been to this hotel. From the moment we arrived we were wowed after reading the reviews we wasnât expecting much but needed to find out for ourselves
Well what can we say it was great we booked a suite which had a view to die for and a hot tub which was valuable this time of year as the pool was freezing.
The staff were all lovely from reception to maid service to dining room staff well apart from the chefs that were cooking you food couple of them a bit miserable.
The. Real fast was lovely and dinner and tea some of the food was repetitive but always nice we read the reviews about the food not being hot so we kept away from dodgy stuff but we always found the food hot
The bar areas and very big it has a lovely area outside for sitting and having a drink. We will def go back would like to try summer time or end of sept as it would be nice to use the water park for our daughter. The games room and soft play area was always open and the kids entertainment was on every day and entertainment on a night was a show or a singer in the bar
All in all we were very impressed with the hotel it is a bit far out for some you have to know where it is before you book we had a car so we got about to marina and puerto banus. But s taxi to marina was only 13 euros and to torremolinos was 20 which wasnât bad at all
We would highly recommend this hotel to anybody and will def be back maybe next year canât wait.
