View is spectacular

Only for the view rooms are all substandard. But for the location and the morning view that's the catch here. It's just spectacular in the morning. And their cafe is on the top. There is a time delay for food. But the view from there is just awesome.

Raja the manager helps with everything to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. comfortable rooms, amazing views, walks in tea and cardamon plantations at your doorstop. i got addicted to the inhouse masala tea!
Stunning view and incredibly poor management

The locating was perfect and there are some very nice hotels nearby. The view is breathtaking. The management in the other hand was terrible. It says they have 24hour reception, but the reception was mostly unmanned and the staff unreachable, even though I called their cellphone. I needed to arrange a rickshaw one morning, and tried to reach the manager the night before and again in the morning but to no avail. I ended up going to nearby hotels for help. The same problem arrised with check out. When I finally managed to get through to the guy in the reception he understood very little, or didn't care at all. It's a shame because it has such great opportunity. The room was clean but smelled like mildew. Last day I checked the mattress and it was basically rotten... Not okay at all.
Stunning views

Great welcome. Friendly efficient staff. View from restaurant terrace will take your breath away. Pleasant, comfortable rooms. Sound carries, but quiet location means you won't be sharing with late-night party people. Fresh-cooked food is delicious.
small resort on a cliff at an amazing location

The resort of sorts in on a cliff along a very narry single lane hill road amidst dense fotrest. when we went the roads were a little broken. you need to take the road after hydel park at the dam gate to this place dont take the one thru tea gardens from munnar as the road is totally broken and full of craters and also longer.
when we reached here afternoon were quite scared as no one was there and not much people around though there is a village and some resorts around but once we spoke to the boys there one named dinesh if I am correct, we felt at home and they were very help ful, even helped my car which got stuck in the parking as its very steep.
Otherwise the rooms feel small due to a partition between sleeping and dining otherwise its a decent size room with a window near dining with a full view of the bison valley below. the evenings were nice with lights all over but nights were really chilly and dark outside so no change of venturing out.
mornings were the best with nice view of the valley from the restaurant above to see the sunrise and the misty tea gardens below. you can see both sunrise and sunset from here. the view is similar to the pothamedu view point a few hundred meters away on the way.
