Again, we had a wonderful 2 nights here before moving through Belgium. A fantastic hotel with a host who could not be more obliging.
A lovely room and super breakfast which set you up for the day.
Luc even went out of his way to make a special morning rememberable

Our party of six stayed at the Horenbecca Hotel so that we could see the Ronde Van Vlaanderan and do some cycling. Luc and Mello are very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in 'pop up' units in the hotel grounds that were comfortable and provided a good base for us and our kit. A cycle store was also provided to store our bikes and there was also a power washer and other cycle tool for us to use such as a pump etc.
The food at the hotel is very pleasant and reasonably priced in lovely surroundings. The hotel is situated in a the countryside approximately 10 minutes drive from Oudenaarde. The cycling in the area is fantastic and is located in the heart of the Tour of Flanders course with several cobbled hellingen located nearby.
A big thanks to Luc for making our weekend so special! We appreciated the lift to take us to the Oude Kwaremont on the Sunday. We would live to come back to this lovely part of the world!

Nice size room, and good food (be sure to book an evening meal before arrival, especially on Mondays as local restaurants aren't that close, or closed Mondays).
The hosts were very helpful and pleasant, and the room (no. 9) was a good size with a walk in "rain" shower (although the shower is operated by a button that runs it for 20 seconds each push - I guess to save water; although friends in another room didn't have this 'feature').
Don't be put off by the location opposite a church as the bells don't chime between 9pm and 8am.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of the Flemish countryside. A warm welcome, beautiful room and an excellent breakfast. We could not fault our stay here. The hotel is close to many interesting places and is superb for riding the Flemish cobbled climbs.

Usually popular with Tour de France enthusiasts, we stayed in this lovely hotel for one night only. Our triple room was easily big enough to sleep 5, with 2 separate levels for added space and privacy. Clean and comfortable, the owner was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a little basic and disappointing but there was only one other guest apart from us. Lovely if you want peace and quiet, highly recommend Bistro Fredje Friet for nearby dinner too.
