The Horison hotel is situated in Seminyak close to Legion - a touristy but comfortable area with much local participation. Access from the aerodrome is quick and easy taking a local taxi at quarter the price demanded by touts as you discharge from the pandemonium in the arrivals hall of the aerodrome.
Apart from a lack of bacon for brekka the hotel is comfortable wih friendly staff. Possibly enhanced by a somewhat reduced number of guests due to volcanic fears albeit with the volcano currently sleeping apparently.

Place is convenience to double six beach , but room is a bit humid and hotel have no gym. The breakfast included was lake of variety. However, staff is friendly and room is neat and clean. Location near by Kuta and city

Stayed over Christmas 2017Well below average! Don't be fooled by the pictures. This place is made to look good by clever photography. We checked in at 5pm and had to take our luggage to the room as there was nobody to help us! In the room, found no hand or face towels, called reception and was told they do not provide these! Shameful!! The hotel is tiny and not on the main road and taxis were expensive as they had to take a long and tedious one way system just to get to the middle of Seminyak!. Rooms are OK but our air conditioner would stop all by itself and it was annoying to wake up in the middle of the night to repeatedly start it. After 5 phone calls, it was finally repaired (new unit installed). Breakfast was drab and unappetising. All in all this hotel failed to impress and I would have rather gone to The Haven around the corner, a far better experience that we had the last time we were in Bali. It's OK for a couple of day stop over but apart from the tiny pool by the reception, there is little else to do in the hotel itself.

Staying for two days in this hotel during our last trip. we choose this hotel only because of one thing which is location wise.
It's located in the middle of Seminyak street and Legian so this hotel is very accessible for you specially if you want to have a walk on this area. We spent most of our time walking in Seminyak street from restaurant and cafe to cafe and still find it easy to get back to the hotel.
The room condition. franky I think they need to improve, we stayed on one of the room in the 4th fl, the cleanliness is nice, the bathroom is also clean and nice, however the air con in our room is not that cool and a bit smely. I guess they need to check on the air con machine on 404.
The breaky was standard, I guess there is only one live stall for egg. They serve combine western and local food and still an OK breakfast for the price of the hotel.
The pool located near the lobby, but it's not a big pool it's only can serve probably around 5 - 6 person nicely beyond that no so sure you can enjoy the pool.
Overall if you want to choose these hotel, it is recommended for you to enjoy the location outside the hotel. Seminyak street, going to the beach or you can go to cafes or clubs outside the hotel (Double Six is in walk distance)

Good location. Near all destination on Seminyak and Kuta area.
From morning strolling in Double Six Beach to Lunch/Coffe in Revolver or Coffe Corner to Night Clubbing in LaFavela.All in short distance.
Good value for money.
Above all staff' friendliness & supportiveness that make me back again to this hotel.
From Security staff to Front desk n Mgr on duty to Cleaning staff they are all very friendly.
Feels at home for me.very recomended
