All staff very friendly and helpful though it would be nice to see the ladies on reception smile more. We enjoyed the breakfasts which included decent DIY masala dosa. We had a couple of faults in our room upon arrival which were rectified when reported. Most sites are walkable from the hotel if you so wish with the palace a good 10 minutes away. Shopping area close by. Downsides are lack of bedside lights in the bedrooms, no outdoor space and a very limited choice of eating establishments in the area. The hotel seems to be rebranding to the Adeline.

Very excellent hotel, surrounding and location is clean and good. Hotel staff are very cooperative, food and service is very best. Rooms are very clean and decorated. Bathroom, toilet, taps are very clean.

This would have to be one of my worst stays ever. The staff are not friendly or helpful and the breakfast in the dingy dining room is terrible.
Although there are renovations happening we were told they would stop at 7 pm. Work was still going on at 11.15 so I'd finally had enough. Off I went to complain and passed other guests who were and had already complained. Once at the front desk I was told it would stop in 2 minutes so back to bed I went. 20 minutes later I went out and yelled down at them and it finally stopped.
The paint fumes are shocking and I hope this place is Shut down.
The name of the hotel is changing to
Hotel Adeline (maybe because of the KVC reputation) so be careful booking in the future.
There is also a power cord running under the mattress to the side table which is extremely dangerous.
Wifi was slow and most of the rooms couldn't receive it.
Only good thing is the aircon ð³

Found this place to be conveniently located with close by access to the flower market. We had issues with the internet and found our concerns were dismissed until we had a man go and complain then it was briskly resolved. We know it's cultural BUT if you serve international guests you need to realize we expect to be treated equally. The construction process down stairs also proved problematic - due to noise and to fumes which were almost toxic.

Overall it was a nice experience.
PROS: Location is perfect, Staffs are very co-operative, Rooms were very clean.
CONS: Food is not that great, Very less number of parking slots coz of that i had to park my car on road side,
