The double room at the second floor was very ok. The single room at the first floor was not ok at all. And very loudy. Like sleeping at the street. The receptionists are very kind and very helpful. The wifi worked only once during my 7 days staying. Old building. Humidity stinks. But a budjet hotel

Stayed 3 nights. On arrival (Saturday) hotel was full and I ended up in an inside room. It was a small room with single bed and an old mattress on it. The room had a lingering tobacco smell from years past. There was private bathroom though. This room is passable for a one night of sleep but wouldn't like to stay longer.
On Sunday received a better room. It was a bright room in sunny side. Room was quite large with a large bed. TV with satellite channels. Balcony and air-con for summertime. Even had a view of a the sea at distance. This room was nice considering the price.
There were notices posted that rooftop terrace/pool area is closed for repairs. Free wi-fi in reception area. Pleasant personnel in reception, whom you get to meet many times as the hotel likes you to leave the room key in reception when going out.

The hotel is centrally located just near the South Tenerife airport. Easily accessed are tourist attractions such as Santa Cruz, Mount Tiege and Puerto de Cruz. Very good receptionist Anastasia. Highly recommended for a short holiday in the sun. I will definitely come back!!

My booking was not in the system, but when I showed them the confirmation, they arranged for another place for me to stay the first night. The place I was sent to was a "hostel", but I loved it. The staff at the hostel was super nice.
The staff at Hotel Aeropuerto Sur is also nice, but this is a low end hotel. The standard is "ok-", and the cleaning is not good. I got a towel with stains on it, and the stains were faced up, so the cleaners should have seen it. Maybe not a big thing, but it shows that they don't care.
The hotel profile offers "free parking", but that is street parking, and you need to find the space youre self. That being said, I found parking two times within five minutes.
The hotel has free wi-fi in the reseption lounge. The code had 25 numbers/ letters and that sais a lot of this hotel.
All this being said, I was looking for a cheap hotel, and the price was â¬40 per night. This was under half of the next one on the list. The room had towels, shampoo and bath gel, but nothing else. A safe and a Tv is also in the room, if you pay extra.
I will never come back, but if you're a budgetg, maybe it could be ok.

I have to say this hotel was basic and in need of some TLC, but I found little in my short stay to really moan about. The negatives were simple: a noisy and poorly ventilated room with a squeaky bed. The aircon seemed not to work and we were woken up several times by what sounded like a brothel accross the road. The swimming pool on the roof was clean and fun but offered no shade, only broken chairs and the whole place seemed a bit tired. My final complaint is that the restaurant & bar are run by a separate family, which means arrangements such as late food are a bit hard to come by. On the positive side, the staff were very accommodating and helpful when some 20 of us arrived en masse from the airport no thanks to an Easy Jet technical delay, which required an overnight stay organised by the carrier. It was one thirty in the morning but the staff remained helpful and even gave us their own bottles of water as the bar was shut. As I've hinted above, the rooms were not perfect but we did sleep, had a clean room and a decent shower in the morning. The breakfast was buffet style and perfectly OK for this standard of hotel. We were not asked to check out in the morning, a useful touch and were served a very decent lunch at one pm on a long table, consisting of salad, main course and desert. Wine, water and Fanta were also in plentiful supply. The bar staff were very accommodating when it came to sterilising bottles for our 5 month old baby, something we requested twice that day. Ok, the area is not touristic but English is spoken at the hotel. We found a very friendly sala de juegos nearby that suplied good coffee for us and fairly priced games for the kids. Overall the stay over wasn't what we had intended, but the area offered a good local slice of life, something you don't really get on the playas or costas in Tenerife.
