This hotel gives you a feeling of staying in an antique hotel with vintage cars displayed at the porch. Rooms though are small and cramped are maintained clean. The food quality is decent. Good Value for the money paid

I had visited the South east restaurant inside the Alankar Grande Hotel near Gandhipuram Coimbatore on 25th Nov 2017 for having the buffet dinner to celebrate my first wedding anniversary. When I had called on phone, i was told that the spread is excellent and that there were 43 items in veg and non veg apart from the starters but to my horror I found the spread was way too less.Definitely not worth a Rs775/buffet at all.And yet another shock was to find the soup to be stale.. The starters especially non veg starters were probably made well in advance as they were not hot at all and were absolutely soggy.. Even the veg starters were nt that crispy..Royally ruined my first wedding anniversary buffet dinner. All in all a sincere "NO GO" is my advice.

Good hotel. Need renovation. Good taste on food. Especially Buffet. Good location to move towards either RS Puram or Avinashi road side. But bit pricey. Staff are really courteous. They have a good hotel in Ooty. Willow hill as well. Which is good place to stay as well.

I stayed overnight at Alankar Grande since I was traveling to Valparai. The hotel is in the middle of a very busy and noisy area. The rooms are small but clean and tidy. All the toiletries were there in place. very comfortable. They offered buffet dinner and the menu was not that great so ordered room service but could not get anything authentic south Indian. The service was great. It was prompt, quick and with a smile for sure. Definitely worth it if you have to stay overnight for business.

This hotel had been located at the city center. The checkin & checkout policy was a hassle free. I had made the booking for standard which was a bit compact. Still the rooms had been looking gud. The Cp breakfast provided had been delicious. The hospitality of the staffs were good. Overall it was a pretty Stay
