Aroma restaurant

I stopped at this place with my in-laws. There was a language barrier for me (I donât speak Telugu), so Iâm not sure what happened. I canât handle Andhra spice, so my brother in law repeatedly communicated that to the server. The server got upset at one point and stormed off, dropping something/knocking stuff over in the process.
I donât know what happened after that. The food and silverware was deliberately slammed down onto the table, as though the servers were having a temper tantrum at us. The servers attitudes were negative, and they vanished. I donât know if it was my presence that offended them (I am foreign and look different). It happens.
I have found that Indian restaurant service is superior to American because of the excess of attentive staff. This was not the case here.
At the end of the meal (not the beginning), the servers talked (plotted) amongst themselves in the corner (by the kitchen door), then came and demanded cash payment claiming their card machines were broken. Everyone (even a foreigner like me) knows the ATM machines are empty for miles. They had seen our cash (which was brought for a hospital visit).
The general behavior of the staff here was juvenile and unacceptable. The food all tastes like ghee (and who knows what else they put in there). I figured that flavor was a result of the ânon spicyâ request, but my husband (who is from Andhra) said his ânormalâ food wasnât up to par either. I only gave thus place any rank because of the AC, and the fact that it looked a bit more well-kept than other places Iâve been to. There is better food and service available in the area.
Very nice taste

do not expect too much from this hotel to a westerners standards. no refrigerator. wifi works sparingly. staff barely knows English. moth balls in room give very unpleasant odor. only get the suites if you really want to be comfortable. bed sheets are itchy, so bring your own. bed is hard as a board. no room service breakfast until 10. food is ok, and staff is friendly with nighttime room service. right in the heart of downtown. a store called spencers is right across the street which has food and drinks.

I stayed here for 25 days. I loved the area in which it is situated. It is sorrounded by cafes and supermarkets. City Mall is just 3 minutes away from there. Lovely rooms and service. Only problem was language of staff. Atleast they must know HINDI / ENGLISH. Overall Nice hotel to stay

I found this hotel average. staff is not prompt, neither services are good. Restaurant AC is down, if number of people less. Breakfast is also not up to mark. They don't provide food after 10.30 pm. overall not good neither bad hotel.
