Good place to stay.
5 small beaches and coves very close and the Cala Gran beach was just 2 minutes away.
Very central to lots of bars and restaurants.
Clean hotel, the room was cleaned everyday and towels changed every other day.
Fantastic owners, so helpful to my family.
Great cafe/bar at the rear of hotel with good food.
If you're looking for a 5 star hotel then choose somewhere else but if you're looking for a good honest hotel with a bit of personality then this is your place.
No tv, kettle or fridge in the room but we got used to it after a week.
Would definitely come back to this hotel.

Visited off season and got value for money. Basic but clean room. No amenities at all: no tv, no a/c, no mini fridge, no hair dryer... Guests not allowed to bring food or drinks in the room (so that the hotel's coffee shop/bar business gets going too without having to make any effort...). The receptionist was careless and only pretended to make the effort to accomodate our requests... I would stay again if I really had too but I would choose a different place if I had a few more bucks to spare.

Booked the Antares for a short break to attend a friends wedding. The hotel was very clean in all areas including the bedroom. The bedroom was very basic and had no tea/coffee facilities which would have been nice. A family run hotel made it easy to borrow things like an iron or hire an extra fan to combat the stifling heatwave we encountered as the ceiling fan was simply not strong enough to cope. The hotel had a great breakfast available including both continental and British menus all produced fresh and at a really great price of 4Euros per person for all you wanted basically.
A good break for the price and we would recommend it because of its central location to restaurants, bars and shops.

We spent 5 nights at the Hotel Antares on a 'room only' bases on our recent visit to Cala Dor. The hotel is ideally situated literally over the road from the many lovely restaurants & bars in the main town. I was impressed with how modern our room was.......it was basic but comfortable & included a double bed, wardrobe, ceiling fan, shower & toilet. It was cleaned every day with towels been changed every other. Although we never ate in the hotel we did enjoy a few drinks in the very pleasant café/bar at the front of the hotel & found all the staff to be very friendly & approachable. One thing that the Hotel Antares does not have is a swimming pool but we found a great pool/bar called 'Tropical Gardens' which was only a 5 minute walk away & was free to use if you used their bar facilities! I would say that the Hotel Antares is a great little budget hotel to use as a base for your holiday in Cala Dor & I would certainly stay there again!

An excellent cafe/bar. Also hotel.
We come here every day whilst on holiday.
Great atmosphere, staff, food and beers.
Thomas has always made us very welcome. Try the sangria and ice beer you won't be disappointed.
We make this our first and last visit of our holiday.
