Food was safe to eat for foreigners and reasonably priced. Front desk and restaurant staff very helpful and friendly. The room rate, however is very overpriced for this hotel class in India. The bathroom was very pokey and smelled. The actual room however, had been freshly painted. Take care re the bedding: when we arrived, the beds were made up with only one sheet on the bottom; there was no doona cover, so we were expected to sleep directly in contact with the bare doona which we don't think was changed with each guest. The head of housekeeping was inconsiderate of guests' peace and quiet: he held a meeting in the foyer of our floor with his staff at 5am one morning. I had to get up and ask him to be quiet and when the discussion didn't stop, I instructed the group to move from the floor. Several of the housekeeping staff made a special effort to say hello to me that morning, which I was grateful for, however, no apology was received from the head of Housekeeping. When beds were being made up in other rooms, you could hear conversations between the Housekeeping staff. Also, glasses in the bathroom were not cleaned on arrival.

Average hotel with excellent Indian cuisine
Very polite and respectful service. Our group of 2 couples Stayed 2 nights. Very close to mahabodi. A bit old buget hotel. Would recommend to Asianize travelers.

Iâd stayed at Bodhgaya Regency India for 4 days 3 nights. Purpose of visit to this place is to shoot an activity around Mohadbudi temple during poja.
Hotel reception is clean and very comfortable.
Room was nicely prepared for the guest with 2 bottles of complimentary drinking water.
The major problem of this hotel is a wifi connection. I was stayed in one of the room at level 3 and No connection at all inside the room even there is a signal.
Even at the lobby the connection is so poor. Sometimes have sometimes lost and take hours to get connected again.
On the last day I just discovered that the wifi comnection is good on the 1st floor. Pity to me and all my friends.
Food was good and all vegetarians.

Room is good. I think there is no hotel who has so many rooms as compare to Bodhgaya Regency . Quality Food at restaurant. Hotel Service is extra ordinary. Stay was memorable. Very near to Mahabodhi Temple. Walkable distance.

We stayed at this Hotel in last week for 2 nights. It is a well recommended property .. Situated though a little far from centre of city but it is close Japanese Temple and 80 ft Budhdha .. Mahabodhi Temple is also situated close by. Staff is very courteous, Led by Mr Jha they are very helpful and proactive. Breakfast which for us was inclusive in room tariff is Basic but the restaurant staff helps with your individual choices. Food quality is very good but I will recommend bottled water.
Close to Gaya airport and on request they provide pick up/drop services at an addl cost.
