We ended up here because the hotel we booked didnt have our reservation what an amazing hotel very friendly staff always there to help very clean hotel & rooms cleaned everyday, would recommend this hotel to everyone

We always enjoy our annual 2 or 3 week holiday here. Friendly staff, lovely pool bar, obliging reception staff and comfortable accommodation. Pool area always clean and tidy. Apartments are in a very convenient position for Supermarkets, bars, cafes, restaurants whatever you want and the beach is the best.

Well where do I start. This was a last minute holiday. When we booked this place it looked nice in the pictures. We arrived at just gone midnight. Walked all through the complex to get to our accommodation which was down a steep flight of steps - which wasnât lit very well and carrying a heavy case down it was wary. Our accommodation was in the corner in the bottom of the complex. We go into the place and the first thing that I noticed was the smell. It smelt damp. We decided to just dump case and go to bed and then sort stuff in morning. Single beds that had more lumps in the mattress than porridge. I tried to go sleep but there was an overpowering stench that just seem to come out of nowhere. Made it impossible to breath properly. I moved to the living area to sleep on the bed there and that was worse with noisy people watching something sat outside our apartment. So first night no sleep. In the morning I go into the bathroom which is tiny and the smell in there coming from the drains was so overpowering that it made me sick. Looking around the place it wasnât exactly safe. Wires coming out of lights. Said there was satellite tv. Well there may of been a socket that said satellite tv on it but there was no tv in our room. Not a big thing as we were not going to be sat in everyday. The flooring is laminate and coming apart. Chunks out of skirting boards,door handles coming off so you couldnât shut doors. The shower flooded the bathroom and into the hallway area so bad. That was with the curtain fully shut but the shower tray was too shallow. In the bedroom there was nowhere other than a rail to hang clothes up. No drawers to put anything away. Our bedroom overlooked someone elseâs outside area. Cooking facilities basic. Not enough pans utensils. The kettle is one you boil on the stove. That took forever as we had an induction hob. We complained to the manager and they sent a cleaner in to sort smell. This however didnât sort it. Only made it worse. We asked to change rooms and was told there wasnât any. Try another day. We muddled through till the following day and was given another room overlooking the pool. No smell but wasnât very clean. Noisy and the toilet was wobbly so when you sat on it it moved when you moved. Shower was over a bath but no taps on the bath so if you had little kids and wanted to bath them you couldnât. The wardrobe doors were coming off when you opened them. When looking around the apartment no smoke detectors alarms or anything as such. No tv again. We decided to not both cooking at all. This place was somewhere to sleep change and shower. We ate out every day. This putting our costs up.
The staff are lovely and helpful. Manager was helpful and friendly. Places I would recommend going for food are for breakfast and other meals if you want cheap. The pub next door Supertramps does a good cooked English breakfast for â¬4.50. English beer. The other food is good too. Lots on your plate for your money. Sunday roast was excellent too. Lots on plate for â¬10,50.
Thereâs another pub next to this one called the The Toby Jug. Does English afternoon teas. We walked into the main drag every evening and there is plenty of lovely restaurants to eat in. They do tend to hassle you to come in and eat but we ignored them and chose where we wanted to eat. All of the places we went to were helpful and showed me on the menus what was gluten,wheat and dairy free and they made dishes up for me if there wasnât anything I could have. My favourite restaurant was restaurant diferent. Lots of food and very tasty. We found our favourite bar night two. Bar diferent. This is a Dutch run bar. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a very good time there. Especially one night when they had a live singer who sang lots of English songs ed Sheehan , rag and bone man plus many other artists.
There are several small beaches within five minutes walking from the apartments but do get busy. The water is lovely and warm. Sand clean too. We went to the marina a couple of times. Stunning boats there. Jolly Rodger pub is worth a visit. English beer etc. Lots of gift shops etc.
All in all this being a last minute escape for some relaxing it was a great holiday. Accommodation not so great but we had lots of laughs and relaxed ,read a lot ,ate far too much and drank too much but a holiday is what you make it.
Overall if you want somewhere to just sleep and change etc then this apartment complex is good for that. If you donât want to eat there then take plenty of money. We got through on average â¬120 a day. That was eating out twice and drinks. Some pubs and restaurants charge â¬5 or â¬6 a large beer. Bar diferent charge â¬3.50 for their cheap beer. There is a tourist tax we had to pay when we checked in as well.

First things first. This place is basic. But the location is amazing. The staff are amazing. The people you meet are amazing! What more could you want? We have been here five times, every September. Carme the manager couldn't be anymore helpful. Whatever she can do for you she will. Pilar in the kitchen cooks the best breakfast in Cala D'or. The cleaners/maids are great.
The actual settings of the apartments are very pretty. Small complex, with lots of character. Yes there could be improvements which they are doing. Replaced all the rails and doing the rooms up, slowly but surely.
There's a lot of bad reviews, but honestly I can't complain. I've had the best holidays here and will continue to come back year after year.

2nd time at this hotel sept 16 /23. staff allways very helpfull pool is a sun trap all day best and cheapest breakfast full breakfast pluss drink 4 euros. shop right on door great cream buns plenty fun for kids
