Globales Camino Real is a great place to stay when you need a comfortable clean room, great GREAT food, and a beautiful pool. Clean. Quiet. Professional staff. Check in is a breeze and finding your room is simple and easy. They even have a kiddy pool on site so sipping on an afternoon libation by the larger pool after a long travel day is relaxing and enjoyable. The gardens are well manicured and inviting. I loved everything about this hotel and recommend it fully and without reservation. Oh yes....the breakfast can be included for an additional $15.00. If you choose this option I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

On our 21st trip to Nicaragua we once again stayed at Camino Real. We were treated like visiting royalty. A sign of a well run hotel is the fact that so many of the staff has been there since our stay there in 2009 to perform surgery as volunteers. So, we are greeted like family. We find this location excellent. It is one km from the airport but since we travel throughout the country it is on route 1 so easy to access the roads where we need to get to. The food was outstanding this time. We were at the hotel 5 nights as we crossed the country to visit all our friends in Chinandega, Boaco and Managua and ate dinner there. We highly recommend the filet, the churrasco and the spaghetti bolognese. The breakfast buffet is one of the finest we have seen. Our special reason this trip was to attend our friend's wedding in Lago Apollo. We highly recommend this hotel as we have watched it over the years adding amenities and upgrading the property. It is deserving of the highest tripadvisor rating.

Had a very early flight out of Managua yesterday and booked a room at Globales Camino Real.
The young man at the Front Desk was very polite and quick with the checkin. The hotel is one level, my section was 400 which wasn't too far from the main lobby but away from the pool area where people smoke.
The shower pressure was great and the bed was very comfortable. My flight was too early for breakfast but they do have coffee and pastries on a table in the lobby. The hotel and hotel grounds are very clean and all staff I met were friendly.

You get everything what you want I dont want to make a list, just the best things: very-very good restaurant, try a steak with coffee sauce, fabulous!!! The breakfast is buffet style so you can eat anything what you want.
Only one negative thing, outside temp is 31 celsius but in the hotel reception and restaurant has 18 celsius, so outside I can wear a short but inside is only with long pants with jacket :)

My husband and I stayed here our last night in Nicaragua. The hotel is lovely. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The bathrooms have plenty hot water, good towels and amenities. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful (and spoke good english). I did not go in but the pool looked nice as well. The welcome drink was a nice touch. The free shuttle to the airport was efficient and the reason we stayed here. Dinner was okay, not great - but we do not eat meat so I can only speak on the fish. We did not opt for breakfast.
