Hotel is very large in vast grounds on outskirts of Chaves. Decor is a little quirky, owner's own taste is reflected I think. Staff were efficient. We had a very large room overlooking the mountain, with very comfortable bed and we got a very good night's sleep. Room was rather dark with black furniture and dark carpet. Good value for money. Very well equipped fitness centre. Have never ventured into a casino before. It was extremely smoky so didn't stay long. On checkout, the hotel's system would not accept our credit card which we have used everywhere else with no problem. A little inconvenient to have to use our back-up card.

This swanky hotel is part of a complex which includes casino and other facilities, located in the outskirts of Chaves. Taking the 21th exit of the motorway, you can´t overlook it, as it´s easily seen from a distance. The facilities are huge, with lots of parking space around. All the facilities are impeccable clean. This new establishment has a contemporary and sleek style. Rooms are rather big and well furnished with very comfortable beds. As you probably know, casinos seem to be a prosperous activity in Portugal, unlike neighbouring Spain. In Portugal, you can find this type of place in many tourist resorts, they usually offer additional activities as restaurants, live music shows etcétera. If that is not your thing, this hotel also offers other services: gym, spa, a big infinity swimming pool outdoors, plus a good indoor swimming pool as well. At certain times it seems to be taken over by rowdy children and their nonchalant mothers, not being a very relaxing place indeed. But if you go a little later, you can have a really good huge swimming pool which is really heated, just unlike happens in many other hotels, just for you. Good and varied breakfast. Taking into account the type of hotel, the price paid was just normal: not a bargain but not expensive either.

Large, modern rooms with spacious bathrooms decorated to a high standard. We enjoyed our stay in Chaves and can attest to the comfortable mattresses on offer at this hotel. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and were served by a very nice waiter. The buffet was okay, it could do with a bit of variety.

Our second visit to this wonderful hotel and we weren't disappointed.Superb location overlooking the city (or depending on preference, mountain views). The rooms are generous in size with private balconies and immaculately clean - like all public areas and the hotel grounds.
The staff are extremely friendly and always concerned to help if necessary.A particular pleasure is the Health Club and the outdoor infinity pool is a real positive.
Breakfast is excellent and all round value for money is assured.
We'll definitely return again.

Modern, clean, with a nice breakfast. Awesome building. Great swimming pool. A very good place to stay and visit everything close.
Even if you have a lot of good restaurants near by you should try to have a meal there.
