not a place to stay because-
1- Room - In bad bad condition
2- Bathroom- Smells like hell
3- Furniture- Pictures speak
4- Parking- Tricky
5- Food- Infected,stinky Kettle,tasteless food.

6- Service- worst part is noisy rooms smells from bathroom and service guy is hell

I Booked this hotel when I was in solo tour and I got excellent services from them staff and location was good very helpful people I ever suggest this property for stay if you are looking for a peace full area in Shimla

I stayed in a super deluxe room, which was found good in size. Room was very clean and service of the staff was also good. Internet service was bad. Rest I enjoyed my stay in a peaceful environment. It was about 2.5 km away from the Chail city town.

I booked this hotel on my wedding anniversary! i must say the staff is so good, they greeted us and offer Tea or coffee(free) Rooms were clean and whatever we requested staff they provided it. Food is also great! love to stay again in this beautiful property!

Your vacation is incomplete if you are not contend with the hotel you stay in. Thankfully this is not the case with us. Just returned from a rejuvenating vacation in Chail and what made it so refreshing was our 3 nights stay at Chail residency.

After reading some positive reviews we booked this hotel for a family of 15 people.Our package had 2 family rooms and 2 super deluxe rooms. The family room has 2 double beds and can adjust 2 more matresses on the floor as the room is spacious. The super deluxe room has a bed and can adjust one matress on the floor. Must say the family room was a big surprise for us as the room was spacious, comfortable and the seating arrangement was well thought off. We were very amused by the rooms as all the rooms had a view of the lush green valley and chairs in the balcony where you can sit , relax and enjoy the view just in front on you. However, the view on the right side is obstructed by another building. The rooms on the upper ground floor i.e room 201 & 202 have a better view and are more spacious and clean as they are newly constructed. Another feather in the cap is the ample parking available right outside the hotel where they have installed the camera as well.

Coming on to the meals, since Chail is a non commercial place there are no eating options apart from the place where you stay. To be honest we not at all regret having all the meals in the hotel.
Starting from the breakfast - the options are limited as they have paranthas, Puri bhaji, masala omelette, fried eggs, toast and boiled eggs.
The best dish for breakfast was the puri bhaji.
Would have loved to have grilled sandwich which they serve in snacks but is not a part of the breakfast menu.
Lunch and dinner is mostly Indian or Chinese. Both the cuisines were delicious especially the Mix veg jalfreezi, butter chicken, veg chopsuey, veg chowmein and chilly chicken.
As we arrived around 4.30 in the evening we ordered snacks - pakoras, veg chilly balls and noddles were superb.
The non veg snacks were not that great as compared to the veg ones.

As I write this review I am truly representing the view of my entire family of 15 people who were super happy and satisfied with the hotel and the staff.
The staff did a spectacular job and made this place a must visit again for us.

For the management - Just a suggestion for improvement, the corridors need to be a little more clean and hygienic. The rooms on the lower floor had a spider and cockroach so plz do the needful.
