The hotel is one of the first 5 star properties in Varanasi. Despite a lot of heritage, the architecture, interiors and ambience seems classic and elegant. Stayed here for a week, the place is extremely spacious and has good outdoor space unlike other hotels which are concrete towers. Staff are very hospitable and attentive. They suggested the local cuisine which is tasty and also their tidbits helped me in exploring the city !

This Hotel Clarks has a lot of history and old world charm and architecture to be admired.
We stayed here for 1 night.
The lobby is very elegant and check in was quick and efficient and the service is great.
Our room and ensuite was nice with enough space and storage. The decor and room/bathroom requires updating and maintenance. The queen size bed was comfortable and bathroom was functional, shower in the bath tub. The old air cond has that slight lingering tobacco/cigarette smell, for a non smoker you can sence this, we specifically asked for a non smoking room. The outside street noise of cars would come thru the closed windows as if they where made of paper. Not good for sleeping if your a light sleeper like me.
Lunch, dinner and breakfast was good and service great.
Hotel Clarks is about a 20 min drive to the Ganges river.

The hotel is nicely situated in the calm cantonment area of Varanasi. We enjoyed a nice and clean room, very good breakfast and dinner and a quick laundry service. But the most memorable part of our stay were the lovely people of the hotel staff, be it the people of the room service, the man at the entrance door or the waiters in the breakfast / dinner room, Satrughar, Mohan and Jai Rrakash. They are passionate about their job, made us taste some special Indian dishes and gave us an unforgettable experience.

Once again the staff made our stay remarkable comfortable.spl thanks to mr Khan, Mohan n Shatrugan n mr devesh for coordinating the same. Travelled with family, the entire staff looked after our requirements n made us very comfortable. Rooms are comfortably done, all the reqd things r there. Some cons which need improvement
Food menu needs fresh life, but service was good n prompt(repeats n repeats)
Bad luck if u get caught with a tourist gp then u hve no choice but go with their menu,bland sometimes..or sharp.not much of a choice if u have a sweet tooth, that spread needs innovation.
Overall the goof staff attitude n responsive behaviour made up for anything amiss. We had a grt stay

Hosted a rotary pre pets for 80 Rotarian at Amrapali hall with a set up of classroom training
The event started with a breakfast with a coffee cookie break followed by lunch all the program was well arranged and food was excellent
Special thanks to ranjit sagar ji the F and B
Manager and Jha ji the chef for excellent food
