Cosmos is a small but decent hotel. Lobby is small but neat and clean. Rooms are nice, clean and good. Breakfast served lacks variety but tasty
It is near sgpgi. Service is quick. Quoted rates seems to be high otherwise good hotel.

Nice and helpful staff. Small lobby. Got to room and A\C didnât work. Had to finally change rooms. That room worked well. Staff had to rewire TV. Restaurant was fine. Little dark in hallways. And felt nearly empty. Average budget type hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for one night. The rooms are small but have all the amenities like electric kettle and average toiletries.
The staff is rude and indifferent to guests.
The breakfast has limited choice and taste was just ok.
Dealing with the reception was indeed a tough job.
Try avoiding the lift as it is full of foul smell like sewer.
So if planning to stay for a day or so, hotel is ok else avoid.

The experince was nice overall. Complimentary pick up facility was provided. Rooms were small but nicely maintained bathroom was clean and tidy.
Food served was nice, staff was cooperative. Needs were taken care off. Thanks to ajay and ramesh.

We travelled to Lucknow with some work at SGPGI, and ended up in the only decent hotel around, Hotel Cosmos. Couldn't figure out the exact reason, but our booking via Yatra was cancelled and on calling up the hotel, they asked us to book via their personal website, which did cost us more.But in this whole process, had quite some interaction with the hotel's reception, before our stay, and it should be mentioned that they were not only extremely courteous n cooperative, but also very helpful with each detail. We did get complementary pick up from the airport, which was a added bonus. The hotel rooms are not as spacious as shown in the pictures, but they did try to provide all standard, basic amenities. Rooms and bathrooms are clean although our room's shower fixture wasn't working properly. The most irritating part of the stay was the multiple power cuts. Thankfully they do have a generator backup, but the lights going and coming at least 2 to 3 times an hour can get into your nerves. Also our room's television did not have good satellite reception of most of the channels, but we dint complain, since we hardly had time to watch TV. The room service is good. The biggest issue we had, was with the food. Although breakfast was complimentary, all the other items in their restaurant menu is over the top costly. The taste and quantity is ok, but the service was pathetic. It seemed there was only one person who was waiting on all the tables and although he was extremely efficient, it was too much to handle for him. The restaurant's experience was extremely disappointing and really not up to the standard of the hotel. Overall, we had a decent stay but we will recommend it to only those who want to stay around SGPGI, as the proper city of Lucknow is quite far off and travelling costs will rocket sky high if you wish to stay here.
