I have been with hotel crown royale for four nights. My room no was 103. I was a nice experience i am also a hotelier so i can understand the pressure to satify the guest on staff. Everything was good but except one they dont place water in room. Guest have to buy bottels for drink. They should place atlest two bottles in room. Staff was good n friendly.

well this is my second home in Dehradun, very nice hotel & excellent food quality. staff is very nice and helpful, well is near by ISBT and Railway Station. they provided taxi service also if you think outing in dehradun or masuri recommended this hotel to every one.

Me with my friend stay there for one night due to some project work, nice hotel. Room are clean and decorated... Value for money..
Food also good, hotel have parking facilitie and restaurant.
Even I got few money in the bed side drawer... May be previous customer left that money.
We enjoy the stay in hotel

With the cash crunch on, I decided to look for a budget yer smart hotel in Dehradun for 4 N / 5 D ( check in on 22nd and checkout on 26th Nov) Hit upon Crown Royale and booked from Delhi.
The hotel is located in Sabzi Mandi area of the city and has easy accessibility to most places.
Stayed on the first floor in a Super Deluxe room although my MAP deal was for a Deluxe room. The GM, Mr. Akhil and Promod at the reception are both thorough professional and exceptional in handling the needs of a guest. They realized my needs and upgraded my accommodation the same night.
The room is spacious, the service level of every single member of the Hotel's team - Room Service, Restaurant / Bar etc bordered on the outstanding. Cleanliness is always high here. The Food is great too and service very efficient.
I would have given a rating of 4.5 stars but for the fact that hot water was a problem during my stay. Perhaps, the reason being that most of the rooms were taken up for a few days by a group that had come to attend a wedding.
The Hotel is well equipped to cater to parties and conferences as I found from the expressions of delight of some guests.
The hotel has their own taxi service which is exceptional in terms vehicle and driver quality. The driver I used for 4 days, Azad, is a superb person and he knows virtually every nook and corner of the city. This made by business trip a great success.
Lastly, many thanks to Akhil, the GM of the hotel who is exceptional man management skills together with excellent customer service will continue to see this hotel being full.

Crumbling Infrastructure, Nothing works, The current rating is very misleading.
The only silver lining is that hotel staff tries to help whatever they can.
Here is list of problems I faced within my short stay of 1 night -
1> No windows or opening in any of the room except those which face the road (one on each floor)
2> Excessive traffic noise on those rooms
3> No audio in the TV of my room, house keeping/ tech support couldn't fix it
4> The old Air conditioner stopped working 4 times during the night on its own
5> Cockroaches in room and restaurant
6> The mattresses is very old & has gone very soft, you can't get any sleep
7> No hot water in room, housekeeping was not able to fix the problem for long, I was offered a bucket of hot water long after I took bath in cold water
8> The shower (With cold water) was throwing water on walls due to leakage instead of on the person taking the bath
9> The breakfast was low level & very basic
The hotel has focus on their Bar only, This place is not worth.
Suggestion: AVOID, Much better hotel nearby
