We come to Noordwijk-aan-zee every year or so. It is only busy in summer and nice weekends. Schipol airport is an easy 30 minute drive.We always try to book the Hotel de Koningshof first because its a great value.
Jean-Paul has larger rooms that we use to repack and reorganize before a flight. Rooms are very efficiently laid out with small baths that work fine. TV has english channels and the Dutch watch lots of US shows in english.
We like the breakfast and never leave hungry. Jean-Paul keeps the breakfast room open 24 hours so you can grab a coffee or a beer at 3am. Our recent stay was 6 days and we really welcomed the freedom to come and go easily. The hotel has free parking in the lot in front.
Hotel de Koningshof's location is superb. The dunes start 100m away and go for miles with well marked trails. The fabulous beach is 200m away and is amazing in every season. Lisse and Keukenhof gardens are a 15 minute drive and there are flower fields all along the road.

When you visit Noordwijk and want to stay out of the overpriced big hotels you have to consider De Koningshof.
Friendly people, nice rooms and close to the boulevard.
Great parking and we had a nice free breakfast too!

Stayed in Hotel Koningshof over a weekend. The area is lovely. Right next to the dunes and a very short walk from the beach. Highly recommended.
Breakfast was generous and pleasant.
Room was okay. Somewhat basic. Beds were fine. Shower was fine. Nothing that really stood out.
My room was quite loud. I may be sensitive but was woken a few times by other guests returning late at night and walking up the stairs. Sounded like they were beating on a drum in my room.
Other suggestion for improvement would be on site bicycle rental service. That would be really convenient as it is a great town for bicycles.

The hotel is a two minute walk from the beach and there is a large public car park in front. The bus stop is also nearby.
The owner was very welcoming and helpful. Guests have the use of a lounge with tv and large table, a breakfast room. These rooms, like the bedroom, were modern, nicely equipped and furnished, and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was served by a member of the hotel staff, and was nice quality and plentiful.

We stayed in a small double room for a few days and we were delighted by the hotel itself and how tastefully the whole decoration and interior was and of course by how very friendly and attentive the entire staff was. The breakfast was very good as well! The hotel is also located very close to the sea and the dunes and you can easily walk to the restaurant front or the small city with its shops. Highly recommendable!
