We stayed overnight on our way home travelling from Italy to the ferry at Ijmuiden...and what a great choice ! Plenty of parking on arrival and a friendly greeting at reception. Although the hotel is getting work renovations it did not really affect us. Our room was modern and warm...and it had a Nespresso machine...what a treat! Very trendy shower area...loved the tree screens. Just a couple of small issues for improvement...another stool to sit on and the large tv screen up higher on wall. The breakfast was a feast...fabulous bread and cheeses, fruit, salmon etc and everybody was given a vitamin shot drink, if they wanted it...very quirky but good ! All in all this was a lovely stopover and we saw an area of the Netherlands which we normally would not.

Stayed for a few nights and found it to be a first class hotel.
Tastefully decorated and in a nice area, very close to the town centre.
I didn't dine there so cannot comment on the meals.
Staff were a credit to the hotel, helpful and friendly.
I would not consider staying anywhere else when I come back.

I have recently stayed 2 times within a week at Hotel de Leijhof, as It was great located between my business appointments. Very nice staff from check in to check out, nice restaurant and great breakfast as well. I will surely consider to come back again next time in this area. Very good value for money. The city is also quite nice and city centre within 5 mins walk..

Hotel Leijhof is one of the nicest hotels in which I have stayed. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff; the food is wonderful and the location is beautifully peaceful. The rooms are rather small and stuffy,but nicely decorated and provide adequate facilities. However more hooks for towels etc are needed in the bathrooms.
The location is perfect for reaching the small, attractive town of Oisterwijk easily on foot and the residents of Oisterwijk are very friendly and helpful too.
We really enjoyed our short stay at the Leijhof and would thoroughly recommend it.

Clean fresh rooms light and airy with a lovely shower. Quite liked the forest shower screen effect. The breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. Just a couple of points in the spirit of continuous improvement: Lose the clown paintings... ugh and genuinely there are people who really dont like clowns. 10 o clock check out is a bit on the early side but I have had to deduct a circle because there was no air conditioning and the room was very hot. Having said that I am being a bit picky. This is a really nice place and we would happily stay again
