Excellent hotel with access to lot of shops nearby. Decent buffet and recently refurbished rooms add to comfort levels. Easy to get a cab nearby. Excellent choice would definitely stay again. Book online to get good offers as their rates can get a bit high on weekends.

Mangalore has a shortage of good hotels, so we really wanted to like this place. The reality is that Deepa Comforts is average at best. Itâs another one of those occasions where the photos are much better than real-life.
We booked a âPremiumâ room but were not at all impressed. The rooms look tired and could use renovating. We had a large party staying in other rooms as well. Everyone was disappointed. This hotel is simply not well maintained.
The breakfast area was below average. Thereâs little charm to the restaurant and the buffet selection was challenging.
This place needs work.

Decent place, clean rooms but minimal amenities...the place is good if your business traveller or couples..
Not at all recommended if travelling with infants...THey aint accomodative with requirement of foods for infants or heating them up etc..
Hospitality is absolutely avg...if planning to roam in the city and not stay in hotel for long, can opt for it...but not meant with small kids...
Dirty water from bathroom tap, no answer if questioned...The room service doesnt know to reply if questioned...
Overall very OK place for the price they charge.

Good location and quality stay for the money. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Basic toiletries provided in washrooms with towels etc. Breakfast was good. 20 mins drive to Panambur beach from here. Overall good hotel to stay.

The property is located centrally and close to the things to do in the city. More of a business hotel rather than a tourist hotel. Since it is located on the main road, there is no access driveway to the hotel and Senior citizens might find climbing the steps to get to the reception a bit taxing. My 81 year old Mother found it so. Reception service was good and check in was fast too. The rooms are compact and surely need an upgrade. Maintenance too needs to be carried out as we found bugs in the toilet and corners of the cupboards.We were there for a one night stay only and found the service to be good too. There is a good vegetarian restaurant called curries which provides good home style food. Although we were given complimentary breakfast, we could not use the same since we had to leave the hotel at 530 am to catch our flight. We asked the hotel to give us a discount in lieu there-off which they declined.
