what a lovely place to stay! great location. a 2 min. short walk to downtown. beach, shopping, restaurants. quiet neighborhood. very clean. very friendly staff. would definitely come back and stay longer the next time

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during a business trip. Our contacts booked us in this hotel because of the positive reviews and its proximity to the centre of Biarritz. We had a horrible stay. I can't really fathom how and why people can be positive about this hotel!
Good location very close to the city centre and the beaches and charming building from the outside but this is probably were you should stay ....
Our room was small, very dark, the bed very uncomfortable (we had the impression that the mattress was made of cardboard), we hardly slept for two nights. The room smelled musty and damp and we could hardly breathe. We had to sit in the room with the little balcony door open so we could get fresh air. The room was noisy, you could hear everything from the adjoining rooms and corridor, that's how thin the walls were. Moreover, there is no lift in this hotel and you have to carry luggage on your own. The hotel also does not offer parking. Needless to say that we had to leave this hotel for a much better one.
Do NOT trust the reviews you read. Dont' let them fool you. The hotel is way too overpriced for the dreadful condition of the rooms and the service you get.

The hotel is really charming, very nice rooms, clean and totally confortable. Well located and by far one of the best things the service, very carefull. I totally recommend staying at this hotel, I had a great stay with my couple.

Good trip advisor recommendations generally but honestly we could not recommend. The hotel and room were charming, just not the staff. Grudging assistance and a really odd vibe. Please be aware that there is no lift and the top floor is 4 flights up. If you have issues with heavy luggage or climbing stairs, you're on your own. The room was spacious and the bath recently redone. Close to Biarritz central. Noisy with open windows.Great patisserie down the street. Wonderful restaurant Les Terrasses 10 minute walk. Would never recommend this hotel. Very unwelcoming.

We stayed only for a couple of nights but it was a very pleasant stay overall. Cute rooms, nicely decorated common spaces and super clean! Within walking distances from anything you would want to visit whilst you stay in Biarritz and only a short taxi ride from airport and nearby towns. If you manage to get a room - book it instantly and you won't regret it!
