IThis is very good hotel , food & staff are very good , specially Mr. Harish Singh he is very good person need some more staff like him . & human being . Happy to deal with this hotel , I visit one time in a week .

Its not good hotel for our of Ludhiana guest, the local staff speak like they are the owner of the hotel, very slow service, food in restaurant not a good quality, But expensive .Don't go fo stay,. I don't think the hotel is more then 2 star.I am very disappointed for this hotel.

First the good things
Lobby quite reasonable and well maintained
Breakfast spread decent but could work on taste
Overall food - in Room dining - good quality , but can work on taste
Room decent size, bathroom layout adequate
Staff makes a serious effort to help and be friendly
The not so good things
Toaster during breakfast a bottle neck, just does not work. They have posted a lady only to turn toast in the toaster as it does not heat the toast from both sides simultaneously. Easy and cheaper solution is just get it repaired or buy a new one.
Hot water not available around the clock. Became a wait of over 45 minutes to get hot water in the evening
Sheets are now worn out- they have become soft and are no longer the crispy sheets that you are used to in hotels
Rugs in bedrooms are old and stained
Passage carpet through out the Hotel has outlived its life
Strong Smell of cigarettes in rooms
Building needs a fresh coat of paint
AC does not cool or warm, the plant is switched off as also the boiler for hot water
As you stay here ( we were here for 3 nights), you realise that the Hotel has fallen on bad times and my guess is being forced by the orchid group management to cut corners at every stage
I will in all probability not return to this hotel, the only unfortunate matter is that Ludhiana does not have too many branded hotels and hence people may still be willing to compromise to stay here

An unforgettable experience
That makes you come back again and again
Regenta is the original 5 star hotel of Ludhiana. New ones have come up now but its old world charm still works for me. The food was good, the breakfast buffet fairly good and with lot of variety .the staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially resturant Frontier team and room service .Managed by Mr Deepak Handa their services was met are expected.
During my stay overall I had very good stay experience at hotel

I stay in regenta alots of time it's feel like homes .room, food all 5star .my experience was really good staff also good spicaly front desk .MR. AAMIR, Mr UTTAM SHARMA , or in restaurant. Mr .DEV Mr. ARVIND . miss LAKSHMI .
