If you are looking for a place to unwind for the weekend in Mahableshwar then Hotel Gautam is a wonderful option. We were there during the monsoon season last year and were enthralled by the mist surrounding the hotel which is situated right on the edge of the valley. It is a quiet and calm place just a five minute drive from town.
The hotel is very well maintained and the housekeeping staffs are attentive to your needs. There is a nice seating area outside the rooms where you can have tea and snacks. The food is pure veg but has plenty of variety and is excellent.

I've been a repeat guest at Gautam. The location is beautiful and the veg thali meals are absolutely yummy. It's a perfect family getaway. While it's close to the market, you'll need a vehicle to get you there. I wish Gautam would start serving non-veg too. Awesome on all other parameters!

Nice hotel to stay with family...the hotel premises is very big and they have a great valley view in the garden..though they dont have much of the view in the rooms..A decent hotel with great food experience...

Good place to stay but food is ok ok...varity very less...dining area needs renovations ac not working in dining area need to improve pool area...pool side rooms require renovation...gym in open passage...staff is good specially pool wale uncle

Went there only to eat the thali. Superb food. Was a bit extra oily but food was great.
We got a chance to see the top category rooms which seemed decent. Definitely would consider staying here the next time around. Views are also superb from the hotel.
