I stayed here for 2 two nights.The rooms are clean ,well maintained and spacious.The staff is warm and cooperative.The breakfast spread is decent.Location is good and well connected to all the major attractions.You can also book tours at the tour desk of the hotel.

This is a nice place on the outskirts of Madurai. An auto ricksha will take you to the temple in ca. 15 minutes. Very friendly staff at the reception. Rooftop swimming pool is very clean. The restaurant is excellent and good value for money. We were really pampered by the manager and his staff. Beds are comfy and rooms are fine. Nothing to complain? Not really. Just a good place!

I checked in with family on 24 Jan 18. I stayed for 6 days . Germanus used to be a very good hotel where we used to enjoy our stay. In fact it was my favorite hotel in Madurai. However this time, It was painful to see a good property deteriorating.
GM stretched his maximum to make our stay comfortable. I appreciate Mr Senthilnathan.
We were happy with food. I think the Kitchen is very strong. Furnitures in restaurant were very dirty.
There is some problem in the car parking. Many cars were spoilt by some oily substance sprinkled all over the car. Oil spill made my car's Windshield opaque! After 3 days of complaining to front office, unfortunately we had to reach the GM to clear up the mess.
Bath room and WC were very dirty . After our intervention with house keeping department , they however cleaned the toilet.
It is primitive to clean room with broom stick . They should use atleast vacuum cleaner to clean the room by the house keeping department as they are catering to foreign tourists too.
Unless they take warfoot measures, they will lose their reputation earned so far.

Old hotel not maintained at all. The AC control is a old knob... cover missing
It takes almost 15 minutes after turning hot water in the shower... size of the shower is quite big but the water flow is so low , better to use bucket. Reception is too slow. Service .. donât think of it

Neat and tidy hotel on tour. Effort put into presentation of room (see towel attached)
Complimentary fruit and biscuits in bedroom appreciated.
Nice pool on roof with area to relax (although don't picture complete silence the main road right outside)
Dated but functional gym also, open mornings and afternoon/evenings.
Lunch a la carte was tasty (had chicken sizzler) and Breakfast quite good, although a cereal choice beyond corn flakes wouldn't go astray.
