Taste of food is good.there is variety of food snacks are so good and south indian
Dishes are very good.juices are also best.
Various flavours are available in this hotel.
Punjabi dishes are also best choice to take in dinner.

I have stayed alone for business purpose and also with family. Though the hotel is professional managed, you still feel at home. As there is no bar in the restaurant, the hotel seems perfect for a family tourist or a decent hotel for a Business traveler.
I have stayed at the Super Deluxe room as well as the suite room. Both the rooms are the exact definitions of high quality furniture, Bathroom fittings, very good accoustics, even the bed and the design and comfort of chairs and Bed in the rooms are perfect. Super Deluxe room is very spacious, Very good television with all channels. They have big wardrobes and cabinets to keep your luggage and clothes and still the room will seem quite big. All the rooms have big windows and from one side you can view of the road, The curtains are also very good.
The suite room as two well designed rooms , with Big wide HD Television each room.
The lighting arrangement in the rooms is excellent. The seating arrangement / sofa set are such that One can view television conduct business meeting in the room as well as the AC is also perfect with separate controls in each room.
The hotel has taken care of minutest details for a comfortable stay in the hotel.
The location of the hotel is such that the rickshaw stand in just 100 meters from the hotel. There are small stores like medicine and other bakery shops nearby. The Great maratha has two in-house restuarants, families of Sangli come for dining in their Kamat restaurant which serves excellent quality and tasty Punjabi and south Indian dishes.There is a fast food restaurant which has a great ambience where one can have pizza and burgers.
Hotel Great Maratha is a perfect hotel for feeling at home and doing business too.

If you are a single female travelling. pls do not stay in this hotel. their staff lacks basic etiquettes.
i had booked for super delux room and all 4 rooms were stinking. they were kind to give upgrade to a suit. which was ok. but wifi was not working. bathroom lights were so inadequate. and bathroom was not clean

Stayed 3 times. At last stay there was some renovation work was going from noon till late night. Could not relax. After request and argument too, the staff and manager it cooperated. Only food is good. Reception very rude. Very stressful and uncomfortable stay. Only room service is fast. Food is good.not worth of money. Very very bad experience. Infant was not able to sleep

This used to be one of the best hotels in Sangli. Location is convenient, restaurant is OK, but overall services & upkeep is very poor.
Totally unprofessional staff, don't know to manage at all.
Please ensure all electricals are working specially AC before check in, otherwise you may have to spend whole night without it in company of mosquitoes.
