Not the cheapest hotel we have stayed in in India, but a really nice experience nonetheless.
Just a short walk from the train station, Hotel Hampi International has clean and quiet rooms and offers a lovely buffet breakfast. Our stay there was very pleasant.
We used this hotel as a base for exploring Hampi itself for a couple of days, catching the local bus from the bus station.
At £30 per night, would place this at the lower end of mid-range.
Staff were all very helpful and would recommend.

Hotel so close to Hospit rail station, no more than 5 minute walk. Very pleased with our room over looking the hotels garden, with interesting views. The room was bright and airy and the bed very clean and comfy. The room was a little grubby but it was nothing major. The food served was very good for breakfast and evening meal. We visited during a Hindu holiday and the hotel put on a fantastic meal for all the hotel guests for free. My husband and I enjoyed our stay for 3 dayâs.

We stayed in Hampi for 2 days. The accomodation is excellent. We were not served with free breakfast, we had our breakfast and lunch on the go. Dinner we had in the restaurant which is located inside the hotel. Food is amazing. The room service is prompt, bathrooms are clean and it was excellent. And its totally affordable. The hotel is very very close to the railway station. You can just walk and go which was a very big advantage for us. Because the return train was at 11:00 PM for us. Overall a good experience.

This Hotel is located on the Station Road and is a stone throw distance from the Station, in fact it is a 5 minute walk from the station. It is quite popular with travelers and fully occupied when we stayed here. Due to its proximity to Hampi which is a World Heritage Site and where the ruins of the erstwhile Vijaynagar Empire are found, this Hotel is always in demand.
The property is large with a good & spacious parking lot inside the premises. The entrance & lobby is nicely and tastefully done up keeping in the mind the heritage of the region. They have travel desk which is essential since it is a very popular tourist destination.
The rooms are the where they score maximum points. They are spacious, clean, with a lot of natural light coming illuminating it. Inspite of a decent amount of furniture in the room; a double bed, 2 single sofa chairs and a table, writing table & chair and cupboard, the room had plenty of space for my little one to run around. The bathroom was of a decent size but very clean.
They have an in-house restaurant and serve some decent food. We called for room service on the night of our arrival and the food was delivered within the promised timelines; taste wise the food was very good. They also have a buffet breakfast for all the customers with a decent spread.
The only sore point of our visit was the service when we had dinner on the last day of our stay. It seems they feel that since we are on a holiday, we have ample of time to while away and can wait endlessly for them to serve the food. A vegetarian dinner at about 8.15 pm for 4 adults and 3 children [Soup, Bread, Vegetable, Rice] cost us one & half hour of our time. This is one factor where they need to improve big time.
Hampi International has ticked all the boxes right except the in-restaurant service. On my next visit to Hospete, I am going nowhere else to stay.

The hotel situated at a walk able distance from Hospet Railway station and bus stand. it is a 3 star property with all amenities and with enough parking. Rooms are big in space and enough furniture provided. they also provide tea/coffee maker in the room. PRoperty is little bit old and hence I reduced one star. Overall good experience. Just 12 Kms away from world famous heritage place Hampi. In hampi you wont get good hotels and the nearby city Hospet is the ideal place to stay.
