3 rd visit and wonât be the last!
Simple but very comfortable hotel.Staff efficient but very amenable.
Reminiscent of ski chalet we ran in France except rooms are much bigger with TV and fridge lovely big bathroom copious hot water Comfortable lounge with open fire,,free WiFi even in 3rd floor bedroom!
Food good Excellent Duck the first night and some good and unusual choices on other nights choice from menu rather than buffet which we prefer.
.not a complaint but an observation ,food served on cold plates (as is often the norm in Spain!)
Transport to and from slopes.
Bar prices very reasonable.
Breakfast buffet had all the choices to keep everyone satisfied even gluten free!
Book direct with hotel you get good deal!

We stayed for some days in the hotel in order to go skiing. It is situated 2 km away from the runs. The hotel has a bus service that takes you there at fixed hours in the morning and brings you back in the afternoon. We didn't use it but we were told you have to put your name on a list the day before. Tredos has nothing much, it is just a bunch of houses, but is quite pretty.
The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very good, eggs, salamis, ham, bread....
We had dinner twice and it was ok, nothing exceptional.
The wifi didn t work in our room, but it was ok in the communal area in the bar.
One bad point for me was that there are only two sets of sofas in the bar, and sometimes you had to share with other people. I think it would be possible to arrange it in a way that you create more separate spaces.
On the whole I quite like the hotel and I would consider staying there again to go skiing. But remember that either you have a car or you are dependent on their bus system.

Travelling to enjoy summer hikes in Pyrenees, we found this place charming and welcoming, and excellent value for money deal. I can imagine it will be crowded in winters, but in July Tredos is not a lively city and if you have no car, you would miss things to do around hotel, but as a base for the National Park its excellent. Not far from Vielha, its not too close to be disturbed. We have not expected too much from¨the place but were astonished. They even organize their own free trips to neighbouring places which would be useful if we had more time. Would happily come back.
