We booked this hotel after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and we were definitely not disappointed.
Location: It is close to Gandhi Chowk, from where the Mall Road starts. However, it is down a steep incline which is impossible to navigate on foot. The hotel has arranged for a pick and drop facility on-demand. That's available till 9PM at night. The only challenge might be when you are loading/unloading your luggage as you will need to co-ordinate and move your luggage based on the drop-off point where the taxi leaves you.
Property: The property is majestic and very well maintained. It definitely looks like a manor house from the old colonial days. The interiors and surroundings are well maintained and has the air of calmness and peace around it. Rooms are spacious with well fitted bathrooms. We stayed at 102 which had an obnoxiously big bathroom and a smaller living room but that can be compensated by the thrill of going back in time.
Food: We had taken the breakfast and dinner package and I am so thankful that we did. Breakfast in the back-yard with the sun shining bright upon you was one of the highlights of our trip. You had all the regular fare as well as Indian options as well. Dinner had decent number of choices and well flavoured food which is palatable to Indian tastes.
Staff: This is definitely the best part of our stay. Pyar Singh and his band of merry men were always present to take care of any and every demand/request/ask that we had of them. They were very well behaved and went out of their way to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. Their accommodating attitude and the smile on their faces made our stay extra special.

I stayed in this hotel in Nov 2017 and had a very good stay. The view from our room was very good. The staff was very friendly. Mr. Pyar Singh, chef, manoj and everyone was ready to go extra mile for customer comfort. Loved the stay. Would like to come again. Thanks.

It's a good Heritage Hotel with friendly staff. Food was average, view is good for the corner rooms. Accessibility with your vehicle or even on foot is an issue as the entrance (which is narrow ) and pathway (Steep) is thru Mall road, they do not allow entry in the evening.
Overall an average experience on an other wise good property.

We stayed here for just a night on a Dussehra long weekend. Which meant that the whole of Mussoorie was full up to the brim and there was no place to stand on the streets. In such a time somehow we managed to get a room at this place. Although the approach to the hotel is a bit difficult, that keeps its away from the hustle bustle of mall road and in a quiet corner of its own. The room was nice and very clean. The staff was highly highly cooperative and helpful. Overall we had a comfortable stay and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place to anyone.

Our family of 4 stayed in their Colonel Suite, 3 room from the left on the first floor, Old world charm with a modern Heater/ Adequate Rest rooms and a comfortable Bed.
A Lovely Property off the incline on the mall road, Walkable distance to quite a lot of places
Above all Mr Prem Singh and his team took care of us, An excellent initiation to the Pahari Cusine, Good Breakfast, and Good Service, We were made very comfortable
and Notwithstanding the Dussehra Rush on the Mall road and gave us a scare on returning back because of the traffic, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, Kids made use of the library and the Pool Table.
Would recommend if you are visiting Mussoorie to stay here.
Don't expect , a newspaper though ( We never asked for one ) and a news channel, We were truly cut off from civization and thoroughly missing now the times we had
