I tried to cancel an advance booking as there are travel warnings issued for the Maldives.
I understand that I chose a cheaper rate but the service officer actually offers to cancel the booking without a refund at all. What kind of suggestion is that, itâs an insult to common sense.

We chose this Hotel Jen Male for a one-night stopover before our check in the next morning for W Maldives because itâs affiliated with Shangrila and feel more safe and convenient for the transit which proved to be the right choice though itâs only a short stay.
Staff are friendly in this boutique hotel with sandwiches available by the time we arrived just before midnight. Room was clean and the hotel is located very close to the jetty.
Check in can be a bit quicker by having one more staff in the start.
You can get all the basic amenities and you can be ensured a goodnight sleep till the next morning for stopovers.
Overall, a good transit hotel.

Nice and funky holiday with cool roof top bar, gym and pool
Rooms were also fine.
Good place to stay and go.
Spacious and quiet, staff were fine, Malde isn't that nice but gateway to the islands so stopover like this is fine

It was very comfortable and large compared to rest of Male. Its the biggest hotel in Male but the food was not that great. There is better food available outside. For its price I think it is overrated.

Whenever I do have a trip in Maleâ, this is the place to stay.
Very easy to book. Reservation is pretty much prompt in replying to query and reservation.
Transfer is provided by the hotel from the airport to the city. Very polite speedboat hosts and check-in is considerably quick. They do remember your room preference, so I always get a great room which I like.
In the room, youâll get a welcoming fruits in the mini bar. Room is very clean and switches is very much reachable. Though itâs in the city it is very quite and relaxing.
Will definitely stay again whenever I will be in the city.
