This hotel has two USPs : -
1. Good Location (near Railway station)
2. budget is low
As per the budget of the hotel, the hotel is quite clean esp the rooms in the first floor are good. (Never stayed at the other floors)
It is at a walking distance from railway station. The moment you come out of the hotel, there are many local transport rickshaws, etc available.
To summarise, it is a good hotel if budget with basic comfort is on your mind!

Visited Haridwar on 21.07.2015 and stayed in Kailash Hotel opposite railway station near shiv murti. For a double bed attached bath room, I was charged Rs. 650/- for 24 hrs. The room was old but not smelly and the floor was renovated with tiles. Bathroom was very basic. A cooler was also installed in the window, but we never felt its need due to monsoon. The attached balcony presented a great view. There were two plastic chairs kept in the balcony which were used for sitting in addition to drying clothes which is a necessity in Haridwar due to compulsory 'Ganag Snan.' The minus point of the rooms facing the main road is the noise produced by running vehicles till late night and again from early morning. The hotel also runs a restaurant which is not always open, when you ask for tea, you will be answered that it is not available as the restaurant is not open now. However, if you give the boy Rs. 15/- he will gladly serve tea from road side vendors available there for Rs. 10/-. There are a number of eateries nearby for taking food like the Khalsa hotel, the Raghubansi Gujrati Bhojnalaya etc. Overall, for Rs. 650/- not bad bargain.

the location is excellent as it is very much in the city centre and HARIDWAR RAILWAY STATION IS just 2 mins walking distance from the hotel...the hotel has many,many rooms and the food served here is very homely and excellent,beds are huge,bathrooms are clean,ac works just fine to cool u down and rooms have an attached balcony to..
its a budget hotel IN a religious,spiritual city of HARIDWAR...
just outside on the street u have many options to shop and even enjoy the local food and walk around and soak ur mind and soul in the lovely atmosphere!!!
room service is very prompt and staff is helping !!!
everything is available nearby and u can go HAR KI PAURI in local transport!!!
it is not very far and this hotel is popular with families with kids,couples or groups looking for a good ,relaxing stay in a cost effective manner!!!

Staff of Kailash hotel refuse the deal from cleartrip as the cleartrip won't pay to hotel for the deals and charge from customers... i faced too much trouble in getting rooms in the Hotel when reached haridwar...

for the price the accommodation provide is ok .Don't go for taxi arrangement by the hotel as the driver accompanied was hope less and use less. total waste of money. The room was infested with a lot of mosquitoes hence sleep is disturbing.
