I have stayed at this place many times and sometimes for transiant short stay that is immeterial because the service-environment-front desk staff and personnel are just so very compssionate and always eager to assist even if it is beyond the immediate scope of their work enviro.
Most conviniently located with proxy to core activity of YATRI needs and is Clean on approach and inside the rooms are spacious and a range to choose from.
A FAMILY hotel to stay with and well maintained for all services.
Given the opportunity I will again stay here and recommend to travellers looking for cost effective and those in need of proxy location for the trip core activity SEEK BLESSINGS at THE HOLY DURBAR of MATA VAISHNO DEVI.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with my wife for mata vaishnabdevi temple visit. We r sr. citizen. we have vast travel experience both onside and outside india.
The hotel is situated an ideal place of heart of katra i.e just near to old bus stand, A few minutes distance from Registration counter and 2 km away from helicopter pad and railways station. Market place of main katra city is just a few second away from hotel.
The hotel is very neat and clean mainly bathroom and toilet. The dinning place is neat and clean and food is very very good with cheap costing.
The hotel has lift facility but it hardly run.
Hotel staff are very cordial.Room cleaning service group is good in work.
The bad thing of this hotel ,i suppose, is that lift hardly works. It is a show-piece.
The hotel staff mr Bodh raj Puri is helpful gentelman and his number is 09622041041. U can book hotel through this number and ask mr puri on line and he is very helpful to oblige you in all respect.
i suggest this hotel and book for room no. 302 which has best view.

Hotel Krishna is a nice average hotel. Its in the centre of the main katra hub. Yatra parchi counter is just opposite to the hotel. All the good restaurants are around. Even taxi stand, bus stand and auto stand are just across the hotel. We have stayed here for the second year consecutively and we are highly satisfied with the hotel. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Food we havnt tried so no such comments on that. One thing that disturbs is that there is noise around of bus horns n people chaos sometimes, thats sometimes a big discomfort otherwise I would surely recommend to stay at this hotel. Specially the market area is around the hotel which is a good thing for local shopping.

Hi all,
I have stayed in this property for almost 4 times now. It's strictly a budget hotel and this has its highs and lows.
Highs: The hotel is right at the Katira bus stand and the road towards the Holy Bhawan passes through this spot. So reaching here from either from station or airport should be any issue at all. Also it's easily accessible when coming back from Darshan.
The food is amazing and the staff is very helpful and courteous. ( Let me tell you that there is no Onion and Garlic being used across entire Katra! Leave alone Non Veg food)
The Katra station and Helipad is very nearby not more than 3kms max.
The room service is prompt and they are ready to help and serve at almost anytime. We had been to temple and often come very very late after 26kms of trekking say beyond 3-4 Am, but still they provided milk and bread toast when I insisted ( the kitchen was closed for cleaning at that time of the hour).
The rooms are big and ACs are powerful.
Cons: The property is old and the new one (other branch) is coming up soon and it will be nearby as told by them. When I was there last year there was too much maintenance work going on and experienced little inconvenience then.
There is no internet over there ( no prepaid phones work over there in entire area)
No parking place at all. It's right at the circle of the bust stand and it's very busy area.
The staff is local so can speak in good Hindi and little English ( this is not a big issue, since they are very helpful and that's what matters)
I had not explored any other hotel over there since v happy with their service and hospitality and shall go there again.

I have stayed in this hotel a year back as well. What I like most about this hotel is it's location which is right in the market. Rooms are clean and maintained. Go for market facing rooms. overall nice experience.
