Hotel is well located at Mall Road but to reach to hotel reception, you need to climb atleast 50 stairs and to reach your room, few more stairs. However staff is available to pick up your luggage. Room was average but lake view was amazing. Food quality is good with limited options. Overall stay was comfortable.

Considering the location of the hotel which right on the Mall Road, the hotel can do much better and place itself better. Considering the money they charge, you would expect better quality of service. My biggest challenge with the hotel was the cleanliness, the room was dirty with spoons and garbage littered, bed had hair so did the towels. The linen was shabby, stained and torn along with towels. The room had good views and the staff was courteous which only thing which worked well. The front of the hotel has a very weird under construction structure which is a bit off put off. All in all they can do a much better job if they care enough.

We had booked 2 rooms in Krishna Hotel. The rooms were decent enough. However there are around 50-60 steps one needs to claim to reach the hotel. It gets very difficult for elderly people. However the staff is very helpful. They are always ready to help you to carry the luggage. The food is also good. Better as compared to the nearby local restaurants. The view from room is awesome. There is a view of Nainital Lake which looks breathtaking from the room since the rooms are on height. Overall it was a decent stay.

We visited Nainital in May'17 and our travel coordinator had booked us in this hotel. It is situated on the Mall road opposite the Naini lake. The first thing that we encountered on reaching there was a climb of around 70 steps that lead to the hotel. However rest all was a good experience for us. The staff carries your luggage to your room. Rooms have balconies outside and offer beautiful views of the Naini lake. The rooms are basic but tidy. Breakfast was good.Being peak season they mostly had buffet dinner. On a couple of occasions when we were exhausted we ordered from the room service, the food served was hot and nice and timely.
So barring the climb to the hotel which makes it unsuitable to senior citizens, it is a good budget hotel with great views & good food.

Excellent hotel of this class. Hotel was very clean as well as the room.
The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. My stay was absolutely perfect.
From the kind, courteous and professional staff, to the meticulous, comfortable rooms and common areas and the beatiful view from the lake facing room my experience was nothing less than exceptional.
Will definitely stay here again when visiting this area, and would recommend to others.
