Like many others we were seduced by the location, but we quickly realised the hotel took this to mean no effort was required: worn carpets, spartan rooms etc. this is more 2* than 3. Add to that the kind of reception we got - you walk in, up to Réception, a lady is sitting there writing, you offer up a sunny "bonjour", she doesn't look up or even acknowledge your presence - and it's like "OK it's one of those places". They could not have been less friendly. WiFi didn't work but they didn't do anything to help, as others have also written. We won't be back.

Stayed here for 2 nights, hotel is overlooking the main canal, all walkable. Best leave your car in the canal carpark. Hotel carpark is tiny. My room on 3rd floor simple but nicely renovated, great bed, very clean, small balcony overlooking the action. Nice continental style breakfast in pretty patio or retro style dining area. Lots of small design touches, lots of tlc. Staff friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend as a base to explore this lovely fishing port town.

We visited Sete during the annual fete de St Louis and so the town was rammed but not uncomfortable.This fab little hotel was on the canal and only 200 metres from the main action but surprisingly quiet.Very clean, charming, friendly, great bed linen and slightly quirky. Breakfast could be better but private garage for 10 euros a bonus.Fantastic value in high season for 99 euros per night - just book it!!!

Yep location good. Very modern . Lovely rooms although we was at the back of the hotel we slept well....a character Hotel next to the Canals....we thought the Breakfast was a bit of a let down & not worth the money...cold coffee etc....
Would stay again if we returned.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located for easy walks into the town across the bridge. Simple, clean and compact room. Perfect for an overnight stop or a few days. Wall between our room and the next a bit thin so aware of the movements of the guests; our neighbour's seemed especially active and noisy! Breakfast very simple and pleasant. The pleasant aroma of the coffee brewing first thing diffused up to our room on the top (3rd) floor which I found delightful to wake up to.
