We were 3 girls staying in one room. The room was small in size, but apt for a night's stay. The breakfast was wholesome. The overall management of the hotel was nice. Well, there was no lake view from the room, but you can enjoy it from the reception area only.
Pleasant More or less

I was there just for a night after 8 hours sightseeing. The room provided was just like a small chamber with everything closed. Too small room really although we didn't asked them to changed as we just went there to sleep. But in my point of view the room they have provided it only for night stay. Rest of things are ok. Located in superb location. Khasi emporium a famous shopping destination just few minutes walking from hotel. Food quality was good and also bit lower price in terms of other as per as my opinion. But one major thing I notices that they are not accepting card payment it is very harsh in these days. One thing I must say that their buffet breakfast is very good. Lots of options were there to choose.

We went to this Hotel during December 2016 and we had really great time. The hotel is located at Shillong prime location - Police Bazaar. We were 2 couples and 2 children and we got a room which has 2 beds. Price is also reasonable depending on the area. We got complimentary buffet breakfast. The staff behaved well and the food was really delicious.
No Lake View

Well, there was no lake view from the room. The window was overlooking a small dwelling. The rooms are extremely small and cramped. Most of the walls are damp. If you keep the window open, insects would come into the room and if you close it, the room will be suffocating. The Mattress had a plastic over it which was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was extremely poor.
Name can be misleading!

First of all, the location is on the main GS Road, opposite to Meghalaya Co-Op bank, which leads to Police Bazaar. A small alley type ramp takes you from the main road to the entrance, which is just a small roof. From this roof you can catch a glimpse of the WARD's Lake below, That's just it. That is the only view of the lake you can catch!
Reception area and dining area are good. Rooms are situated at both sides of a passage. We checked in at room no 107, which provide us view of a slum below it.
Rooms are just enough spacious, furniture are adequate and minimal. Intercom didnot have numbers printed on it, so you do not know which numbers to call reception or Room service!
There is a major drawback in the bathrooms. Comod is just in front of the door. A glass partition is made afterward to separate bathing area & WC area, but the water gets accumulated in the WC area and refuses to the drain. We had a hard time to clear the water.
