We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is near the lake but there is hardly any view of the lake from any of the rooms. The rooms are decent but they ask additional charges for almost everything like a bottle of water, heater etc.

Resort is mainly having villas and restaurant and located 2-3 km from market. Food at restaurant was good. The hotel avoid serving food at villas and prepared rules for that. Hotel provide wood for fire at room and they charge for it but does not provide bill. Room was big enough but not having sufficient lights. Hotel require improvement in hospitality and room service.

My first stay at hotel lakeview was 18 years ago, with my parents. It felt great to have a small house for ourselves.this time i went with my wife and 2 year old son.
We reached at 12:00 am, really late. The check in procedures were hassle free, we were given cottage no.61. After a long journey we were tired and wanted to rest.
The room was very cold and in spite of them providing an extra blanket we had a tough time sleeping. It was as if we were sleeping outside. Had planned to stay for two days, but we left the next day... Disappointed and tired...!!!

Lakeview resort has almost 116 identical cottages. Every cottage has a bedroom and a living room with additional ð¥ fireplace which is different experience and is chargeable. If you visit this resort in search of luxury, then you will be depressed, but if one loves nature...this is the place to be. The room service is very prompt and it's start as early as 6:30 in the morning. But they have very limited cottages which have beautiful views,as I was lucky to have one. Food is very average and reasonably priced. Mr David and Mr Ganesh were very cooperative and use to greet with a broad smile... everytime I entered their restaurant. Hot water was available 24hrs and the management was courteous to provide extra blankets and pillows. Their is ample parking lots and some cottage have their personal parking too. Overall it is a place to be with your family...but not for those who always search for double L.... lavish and luxury.

We stayed for a night with 2 kids. Neat and clean rooms. Very prompt room service. Near to ooty lake. Only cottages from 1-10 have lake view. Rest face each other. Good play area for kids. Little away from lake and shops so own vehicle is good.
