Very short visit but service excellent, rooms spacious, luxurious and charming, though for this class you can hear sound from neighboring rooms! Should have used a booking site, I paid a lot for room without breakfast! But still quality! Area around nothing, no bars dead! Like most of the charmless city of Brussels where bars and charming places to go are not exactly sprouting!!!

I stayed here with my husband in June 2017 for our wedding anniversary, it is a bit of a walk to the main square however very close to shops and restaurants. The room was lovely and spacious and the lobby area was lovely. We didn't have meals but the restaurant looked nice. The gym was poor with hardly any equipment so i think this could definitely be improved.

bookd into here as a central location for a business trip. Taxi ide from the airport is quite expensive (my colleague did that) but I took the train from the airport to Brussels Nord and a 10 min walk and it was less than 9 euros. The surroundings are uninspiring - sex shops, fast food outlets, late night minimarts, graffiti, metal shutters etc And yet some of the architecture is amazing and we did find a few great places to eat nearby. They are digging the central boulevard up and so - at least for the moment - there is an all pervading smell of newly laid concrete.The hotel itself is quite glamorous with art deco features, a pianist, friendly staff and a great entrance. Checkin was quick and efficient although they do charge a deposit on your cad in addition to your room charge (like they don't trust you). Rooms are grand and stylish with comfy beds, big tv and high ceilings. The staircase needs to be seen. We had a drink in the bar and the staff were very friendly and attentive. No problem printing my boarding card..overall hotel very pleasant...surrounding area less so

The hotel is across the road from a shopping mall and main pedestrianised precinct which runs down to the main square. Many casual cafes around the hotel, although staff at the hotel were not able to recommend much. They were very kind and polite though.
Rooms are large, perhaps could do with a refresh because the hotel is established.
One of the best located 5 star hotels.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a quaint feel to it. The rooms are nicely kept and clean. The hotel is located centrally. You can easily walk to restaurants and other tourist attractions.
