If looking for a clean comfortable hotel with easy access to the main attractions of Alicante at a great price then this is for you. We paid 35 Euro per night for a twin room. It may be slightly dated but youâre not paying top euro. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast included...typically Spanish and more than adequate. Would definitely use again.

I cannot recommend anything about this hotel and won't be staying again! It can only be described as a strange and unwelcoming place. For starters, it looks and feels more like an 1960s concrete apartment block than a hotel. It is extremely out-dated and is crying out for a major refurbishment.
The worst thing is the noise, it is so annoying and unbearable at times. The walls are paper thin so every noise travels and you hear everything - and I mean, everything! You hear every word of conversations, alarm clocks going off, mobile phone notifications, hotel guests singing, what others are watching on TV and couples enjoying themselves! Not just from the rooms either side, but also from above and below, and in the hotel corridors. It is ridiculous, I can't put into words how noisy it is!
The hotel is definitely busy though, but it seems to be mostly frequented by large groups - Spanish families and Spanish coach parties. This just adds to the noise in the rooms and corridors.
Most of the staff on reception don't speak English, so if you ask questions, be prepared to communicate by drawing pictures and using Google Translate. Even though check-in is advertised as 12 noon, there's little chance of getting in your room before 2pm.
The rooms themselves are very small and basic. Clean enough, but stuck in an ugly time warp! There was no kettle/tea making facilities and only one plug. The hotel seems to be in a square shape with a courtyard below, so the room windows face other rooms and overlook each other. Hence, a brick wall is your view and there's not much privacy. The wifi is also hit and miss.
There is a poor breakfast selection and the food/tea/coffee is cold - there also only seems to be one lady working in the breakfast room and she likes to close the door, stop serving and start cleaning up around 30 mins before the allocated end of breakfast!
It's maybe not the best of areas as there are several sex shops & strip clubs very close by and undesirables hanging around outside. However, its very close to the airport bus stop and within walking distance of the shops, marina and beach. Just don't go anywhere near this hotel without ear plugs!

Really bad hotel! Very, very noisy and very very old! You hear everything what the guests are doing and talking about cos the walls are made of paper. The breakfast was also really bad, just toast and coffee in the basement without windows! The beds are soooo hard and uncomfortable!
The hotel needs a big renovation now. Would never stay here again!!!!

As you walk in the reception, there is an over powering noise, which sounds like a propeller air plane engine.That sound can be heard throughout the building. The noise stops at 2am when the limited aircon shuts down. At 7am you awoken by the lovely sounds of the cleaners, chatting in their highest voices. Breakfast is OK, although the Alpen ran out on Wednesday. On Wednesday , a staff member walked into the breakfast area, broke a plate and then switched off the music radio.The outlook from the window was other window and pigeons. If you like retro deco from the 1960s this is the place for you, it probably has not had refurb since then. Across the road is a sex shop, girly bars are down the road, we were having a drink at a bar on the crossroads by the main road, I was chatting to my friend, I was abruptly told by a druggie , speak in Spanish and stop talking so loudly.
