Great hotel. Small but very comfortable. Breakfast is good, quite area, nice garden.
Enjoyed my stay in business trip to Budapest.
Walking distance to all amenities, bars, restaurants. Free parking.

It's in a quiet area, not too far from the centre. I was there by car so was pretty easy to go in every corner or the city. But i have seen many busses and i think its pretty easy to go out and visit.
Clean rooms, AC but no fridge to keep something to drink over night or so.

A nearby dental practice suggested the place as they send all their foreign patients there. After the first night my partner was covered with huge rashes but we thought it's the side effect of the medication he got from the dentist (however I discovered some tiny blood stains on the sheet). It was discontinued immediately but after the second night he looked even more eaten alive and I was also covered with bites and the sheet had more blood stain then previously.
During check-out I informed the receptionist about their bedbug infestation and wished to talk to a more senior staff but there were none on site. We were promised to get a phone call and was not charged for the two nights (seeing the horror).
Unfortunately no-one cared to contact us to discuss what happened and ensuring that the necessary steps will be taken to eradicate the infestation, so I've sent an email to the hotel, attaching some photos of my partner's condition. Instead of replying to the letter, they accused us at the dental practice for leaving without payment. So now I try to contact the authority to investigate the place and force them to deal with the issue.
The only one who handled the situation professionally was the receptionist and I do hope that she's not fired waiving the bill or not required to pay it back.
The management approach to handle the situation is below any standard!
I attach some photos of the bites. It's not necessarily that obvious as I had just small ones, but if you are hypersensitive, you can end up like my partner. The incident happened almost a 4 weeks ago and he's still covered with scabs all over his body.
Anyone could bring the bedbugs on site but they should NOT deny the infestation and should take immediate actions to isolate and eradicate it.
Meanwhile you should stay away from the place!

The staff do an excellent job in the midst of hardships. A large tour group from another nearby country arrived and were incredibly noisy until well after 1 a.m.. Staff tried to get them to be quieter.
The Staff were apologetic the next morning and spoke with the tour leaders. There was an improvement the next night.

If all you need is a cheap very hard bed this is your place. I have stayed in a lot of hotels, this one underwhelmed big time!
Our "nonsmoking room" smelled like an ashtray. There was no phone in the room and pretty sketchy wifi.
Overall the place was clean, but no frills for sure.
Breakfast was really basic too.
The one upside? They have a conference room.
The downside? There are no decent restaurants nearby.
