We stayed at this hotel on our Battlefield tour and it is a very upscale boutique hotel, centrally located a couple of blocks from old town square and 3 beautiful huge churches. The lobby and restaurant area are very nice, great breakfast buffet. The room was amazing as we lucked out and got the bridal suite. A block behind the hotel are 2, 14 Century river towers, guarding the Lele river, which were great to visit a night. Very good hotel for the price.

Living in Kortrijk ourselves we have never stayed in this hotel but we often enjoy a meal in the very good restaurant. Yesterday was a good example of a very good meal with a reasonable price tag. The food and drinks were good and as always the service was excellent, friendly and helpful, and with regular top ups of the wine ! Well worth a visit.

We found Hotel Messeyne on Hotels.com and what a bargain it was. Because we were in Belgium for a function we arrived quite late at the hotel. The parking is adjacent to the hotel and is free. the receptionist was very polite and helpful and spoke perfect English.
The room was amazing, very big and so well appointed. The air conditioning worked very well and cooled the room very quickly, the bathroom was modern, bright and spacious.
There is a safe and mini bar and the bed was so comfortable.
Breakfast the next morning was a European type buffet with the usual array of cereals, fruits, cold meats and cheese and the most fabulous bread.
It was a great treat to spend a night there.

We stayed for 2 days, in room 1 on the ground floor, in early October. The room is large, but quite sparsely furnished. A couple of comfortable chairs and/or a sofa, rather than the very utilitarian chairs would improve it. It has a french door to the garden. The bathroom is excellent. The ceiling is very high, and unfortunately there were cobwebs high up. Otherwise the room is fine. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating, it has a family feel. Breakfast is good and the Winston's Bar is good too. The hotel is very quiet.

My Mother and I stayed during the Passchendaele celebrations in nearby Ieper. Staff were very friendly and caring throughout our stay.
The internet worked well and there was always adequate parking available.
Breakfast was good - fruit, cereals, breads and the option of cooked eggs. The fresh orange juice was delicious!
Our room (number 2) was clean and spacious - the only complaint was that it was ground floor and looked out on to the restaurant courtyard. This meant on an evening it was noisy and we couldn't have the window or curtains open.
I'd happily stay again but would ask for a different room :-)
