Mewar inn has some of the best rooms we've stayed in in India, the hot water never runs out, the beds are comfy and the service is incredible. The staff make you feel at home (thanks Kenny!). It's a fifteen minute walk to the old city and we were glad about that - avoiding the tourist traps. The rooftop is great for relaxing in the Rajastahn heat.

Our stay it the Mewar Inn has been fantastic, excellent service from the staff who will do anything for you to ensure you enjoy your stay, Superb value for money with both the rooms and the food, large rooms, hot water and large shower, nice rooftop dining, easy reach to the sights in Udaipur by rickshaw which doesn't cost much. Multi socket available which accepts most foreign electronic equipment, towels are provided, air conditioning is available. Highly recommended.

Mewar inn is an excellent place to stay at in Udaipur city. Out of the tourist area - but in the center of Udaipur; it offers a quite surrounding and a perfect place to reach all corners of the city - everything is within good range. Cheap rooms are available (bed, fan, free WIFI, hot shower, etc.) and also A/C rooms with television and good bathroom attached at different prices. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and polite! Rooftop is very nice for chilling and the restaurant is of very good quality. Absolute recommendation for a wonderful and romantic trip in the city of lakes.

The hotel is calm (on the terrace), really nice and helpful staff. Cheap, clean, spacious rooms.
Hot shower, clean bathrooms.
Great location.

Hotel Mewar is a great place to stay! It is not far from the centre, so it's quiet. The staff are lovely, the rooms are very clean. The showers are hot. There is a nice terrace area. I left two bags here whilst I went to mount abu for a week and have just come back to sort out travel for my next destination. I would definitely recommend this place for your time in udaipur.
