Nice hotel in a great location. All staff we met were nice and friendly, our room was very spacious with a balcony. Room was cleaned everyday, our only complaint would be no coffee making facilities. There was a great coffee and pastry shop across the road. Roof top bar was lovely sadly it rained when we went up for a drink. Breakfast was perfect with a large selection of food and great coffee. Overall a great hotel, in a perfect location in a lovely city. We will be returning. Thank you.

Great location for touring Lisbon. Metro, bus, tram, train station - all available to get to most anyplace in Lisbon. Lively town square across from Hotel with cafes and events most every day. If you are a light sleeper, suggest getting a room not facing the square. The view is great, but some street noise and music from events. Hotel is beautiful. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast buffet is great but can be very chaotic with so many people. A negative is the bathroom shower - tricky to get the shower spray to work, and clumsy to get in and out of the tub/shower. Very surprised the bathrooms have not been updated. It is functional, but old. There is no good place to put your things but it seems it would be easy to add a shelf under the sink.

Good room and had a large terrace and great views (807). Housekeeping came everyday but ignored my broken bed side lamp. Old fashioned hair dryers in bathroom and no tea or coffee facilities - PLEASE SORT THAT OUT. However, the breakfast was good, the roof top bar has excellent service and amazing views. We chatted to one of the porters - lived in UK so amazing English - he was so very helpful and friendly. Walking distance to everything so would recommend.

We just came back for a 3 night stay at the Mundial Hotel. The hotel is very centrally located, only a few minutes walk from Rossio. There is a tram 28 stop a few meters away too.
As we informed the hotel that we would be celebrating my wife's birthday, they were very kind to upgrade us to a very nice and spacious room with castle view and offer us a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. The beds were very comfortable and our 5-year old son had a proper comfortable bed (not a ranch). The bathroom was very spacious. The only minor issue was that in the morning it took about 4-5 minutes for the hot water to come out, but after that there was no issue at all.
The breakfast is good, however I would appreciate a somewhat bigger variety. But in general very decent. The breakfast room is very big and it is rather thoughtful of the hotel management to have 2 equal buffets set for breakfast. We visited the rooftop bar and restaurant, and they were really good.
The lobby area is somewhat small and a little dark for the hotel size I would say. So I would recommend that they could consider this for the next renovation to be planned.
In overall we had a great stay and we would surely consider staying at the Mundial during our next visit to Lisbon.

The hotel is really nice, the rooms are renovated (although the bathroom seems to be outdated), there are bathrobes but no slippers. The minibar prices are surprisingly low. Breakfast was really good, a big choice of different dishes and of a good quality. The only thing is you have to get ready to wait for 10 minutes to get seated, as the restaurant is too small for such a big hotel (this should really be fixed!).
Thereâs a free parking at the hotel, which is very useful for families traveling by car. You can also rent a car directly at the hotel.
