This is a scenic, really pleasant although rustic hotel. It has great staff, in beautiful old hacienda style building. The up sides are the great decor, the location near the center of town, and it walking distance to many restaurants. The down side is the old feeling bath room shower. It is not the Hilton and do not expect a modern hotel with modern American style amenities. It is really quite Spanish.

We spent 3 nights at La Casona de Calderon. The hotel is in a beautiful building with a pleasant outdoor seating area and small pool. Staff were pleasant and helpful, particularly so when we needed a taxi to the station - Francisco very kindly gave us a lift (it seems taxis are few and far between in Osuna if in fact there actually are any).
Our room was a bit disappointing; quite large but with not much storage space for clothing. Our bed wasn't uncomfortable and the decor was OK. The bathroom door wouldn't stay closed, the loo had a crack across the seat and the shower was very tricky to get to a bearable temperature - could've been better.
Breakfast was a help yourself buffet apart from coffee and tea which staff made - the coffee was excellent. I opted for fruit and eggs as I am gluten intolerant however there were also plenty of bread, pastry and cake type items available.
We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant as on the evening we planned to eat there they were holding a Mexican evening. We went to Andalusia to eat Spanish food so went elsewhere.

When we entered the hotel we were pleased with what we saw. However the guy who eventually signed us in was unfriendly to say the least. We had a room in the courtyard that just felt like a lower priced room. Our friends had stayed there previously and got a higher quality room upstairs for the same price. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Very disappointing because the town was beautiful. Worth a visit.

Stayed in a suite which was dark, uncomfortable and a staircase that was dangerous with uneven steps narrow and no bannister, the bed was small and very uncomfortable and we had to share a bolster pillow. The bathroom was old, rust marks, no proper shower and no toiletries at all. The wardrobes and doors did not fit. Outside the poo. Had only a few inches of water that was really dirty and full of insects. The breakfast was mediocre. Fried eggs sat on a cold plate to help yourself so they were cold and congealed. No parking! I thought it expensive for 97 euros and on booking.com it is listed as 4 star and on the door it is a 3 star. Only good thing was location.

The staff at La Casona de Calderon were friendly and helpful. The building is truly beautiful. Our room had 2 x 3/4 beds pushed together and upstairs was a double bed which our teenage daughter used. The room was beautifully decorated. The only negatives were the water in the toilet smelled. And the door to our room rattled constantly. The room was not sound proofed so we could hear everyone else's conversations. We loved walking through the town and eating at the local restaurants. People were incredibly friendly and hospitable and we would love to go there again.
