The hotel is in really good location close to all sights and also metro and night life... it has too many stairs but nice rooms... but all of these is nothing with the rud lady at the reception... we booked the hotel and before check in we left the place...
Although the lady was not welcoming and friendly for first impressions, but she was really really rude after that... i can not describe her rudeness...ð¡

Beds are not comfortable, rooms are small, bathroom is small too. My shower leaked all the water on the floor which was terrible after every time I take a shower since there occurred a small lake in my room! however, the receptionist and staff are very friendly with very little english they speak. Breakfast is quite simple and not open buffet. It comes from a restaurant the hotel owns, which is called Taverna. Breakfast includes a salad that contains onion (!), tea or AWFUL coffee (which they call Turkish coffee but it is so far from being coffee let alone turkish coffee), tasty oven-baked bread, slices of regular bread, ricotta, yogurt, apple jam and butter. There is no lift, it is a burden to carry a luggage if its heavy. Last but not least the view from the hotel terrace is great. Whole old city.

I can't describe how rude was the receptionist lady during check in.
Then she claimed that my room doesn't include breakfast, my mobile was dead at that time so i can't show her the booking from my end which i checked later and it is clearly mentioned it is included, but i didn't revert to her again coz i hate to deal with her again.
She asked for the money in advance, i had no cash that minute, she kept the passports with her until I pay first!! Very cheap way to deal with visitors.
The room was in floor 5, and there is no lift!!! Sorry, Couldn't imagine, i had 3 cases + 2 hand bags!!
I tried with her for a lower floor, she replied coldly that all rooms are engaged.
The butler helped us expecting good tips.
I left the hotel after 12 hours.
Cons:
All the above plus:
-the hotel is old semi building
-Bleak ambient
-smelly toilet
-weak wifi
Pros:
-Good view from terrace.
-Spacious room.
-Good location.

I guess, decent is the word. The hotel is definitely on a budget side, considered otherwise I would probably give it a worse raining.
Service was decent, staff attentive and polite.
Didn't like the breakfast, but just like in any other hotel in Georgia.

Location, Views and laaaaaaaaaarge rooms ! Renovated rooms, wood floor, it looks old, very but actually is a better hotel than it's stars. Staff not so friendly, could be much better, the (blonde) woman with a hard russin accent who works in the reception, run and ask to KEEP one of ours passports until we payed her, a shame really !!
