Stayed one night here. It was ok. Budget rooms, old linens. But they were clean enough, so thatâs fine. Breakfast was excellent. I recommend buying the breakfast included package, but the front desk needed me to show my email from Expedia explaining that breakfast was actually included

Very friendly staff , high cleaning standards, good selection on continental breakfast , well located 2 minutes walk to the local library, 10 minutes to town center.
20 minutes drive from Viseu, Peaceful area, free parking..

The hotel for us was a transit hotel we did not venture out far the hotel was good no real problems for us. We ate in the hotel and had a good meal again no problem. Breakfast was ok not the best but not the worst.

This is a run down hotel with hard beds, no hot food at breakfast, moths (so i assume) flying around the room (and my colleague's in another room). Not to mention the great view of a dingy courtyard with barking dogs all night long. Particularly avoid if you are a business traveler. Internet issues are mind boggling--hotel must think it is 1995. Buy time, and it must all be used continuously, an archaic system that is simply unacceptable, very inconvenient and costly. Then they give you a modem for one network in your room--but that doesn't even appear as a selection in the room. They tell you that the other wi-fi network won't work in the room--but it does. Sort of. They give you a voucher (charge you) and when you timely complain that it does not work the full hour they don't even offer to take it off the bill, but charge you anyway--and can't understand why that's a problem. Then they need a round robin sequence of calls to a manager to deal with a 3 euro charge and start negotiation over 1.5 euros of it. before finally agreeing to deduct all of 1.5 euros.There is no end to troubles here. Incompetent and clueless is a kind way to describe the management and service. Unbelievable how much time I wasted trying to do basic things. Maybe a youngster backpacking will consider it a treat. Others will view it as a burden to bear.
