This hotel is situated a little bit outside of the city centre, opposite Osaka castle, but the train station is very close by and it's easy to get in town. The staff is very attentive and friendly, like anywhere in Japan, amazing, they are happy to help you with anything. The rooms have a good standard and a good size. Cleanliness is of course very good. I really feel very welcome and appreciated in this hotel. The only think I don't like here, is that we had to pay extra to use the gym.
But a part from that, I am a happy guest and will come back anytime.

Excellent location - very close to Osaka Castle, JR station and municipal train station. The staff in the counter is friendly and speaks English well. The beds are comfortable. We had a great time. :)

When we first arrived, a few thoughts immediately came to mind:
1. It's vicinity to Osaka Castle Park is a major plus
2. It's mostly quieter than downtown hotel - on a flip side, away from the excitements of city centers
3. It's hotel mostly used by business clients and tour groups.
The look is old school but still retains its elegance and grandeur.
The lobby is vast and ceiling is skyhigh.
Lobby boasts its centrally located and cafe-like lounge.
Rooms are roomy, suited for a family of three just like us.
A 3-bed package offers 33 sqm space with comfy and bright ambiance.
Get a room with the castle view is a plus.
Daily water bottle is complementary.
Mini markets are within walking distance. There's mall-like complex nearby with McDonald's, Family mart and restaurants.
No landromat option other than hotel laundry service.
Not many train access options nearby other than Osakajokoen that serves Osaka Loop Line. Taxis are frequent.
To access the airport you would need to plan ahead with trains or hop a cab to Osaka Station or Kyobashi Station for more direct route.
Otherwise take a cab to Shinhankyu Hotel for Airport Limousine Bus.
For the running enthusiasts, a morning run alongside the river is fantastic.

My husband and I spent couple of nights here late November 2017. Hotel is only 5 min walk from Osakajokoen Station and also distance walk to Osaka Castle (4-5 min walk). Great location, nice view and there's convenience store just in front of the hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable. If you like art and paintings, hotel has painting gallery inside.
