We arrived late in the evening and were allocated room 104 at the front of the hotel. The room smelled overpoweringly of air freshener. The sheets and pillow cases were very, very stained and the bath mat, well, filthy. There was only one towel supplied for two people and that, too, was stained. Although there was a broken kettle in the room there were no glasses or cups and none arrived when asked for. As for sleep? I got none. The Room faces a very busy road (24/7) and as the window would not close there was no barrier to the noise of the passing traffic. Breakfast buffet was basic but OK, not great, but OK. The restaurant was bright and the kitchen was the cleanest I have seen outside of a five star hotel. We were moved to another room away from the road for our second night’s stay. I slept. There were drinking glasses in the room. Linen was only marginally cleaner but away from the road, our impressions improved. My opinion? OK for a convenient overnight stay when passing through.

All together it was a nice stay. We used this hotel only for overnight stay. Rooms and services were good. They were not having high spread buffet breakfast however the given items were enough. Staffs were friendly and the welcome procedures were also very smooth. 2 Kms away from Meenakshi Temple. Better you keep your car at the hotel and get an auto (Tuk tuk) to go to temple. Auto will charge you Rs.60 to Rs.80/- Hotel team will assist you to get into Auto. Security staffs are very friendly and available for your assistance. Overall we experienced very good stay. You can always reach GM Mr. Karthik for your immediate assistance.

Nicely located and cosy rooms

Overall the hotel is good and rooms are neat and clean. The staff is also nice and courteous. Good for single night stay if you are visitng Madurai for a 1 day trip. Its located very near to the Railway station and the famous Meenakshi Temple

Book directly with the hotel, 15% cheaper. booking.com charges more and doesn’t come with breakfast most times. check well.

Staff were superb. Went extra mile to please. Wish they can keep the hotel clean.
Food was great.
Sheets and toilets dirty.

For a hotel so young, just 4-5 years it’s not clean. Paid 3000/- plus. Little more I would have stayed at the TAJ.

Nearer to Madurai Meenakshi temple and bus stop and railway station. Take ola autos. Cheaper than bargain ones.

Food food food awesome. They have a good chef and he cooks so well. Must go just to eat the food.

11. Soap was not ok. I felt it was a used one. But they opened a new pack and showed me even then I was not convinced.

Overall. Good stay. But won’t go to the hotel again. Not clean at all.

Good hotel, restaurant useless

The hotel itself is good, small rooms bit very clean and tidy with good airconitioning and fridges. Money exchange also available bit rates are better elsewhere. Probably the best WiFi I've had in India.
The restaurant is a different matter. Clean and tidy the service is extremely poor. I was seated straight away then ignored. They ran around with room service meals and talking to each other. I finally got someone's attention and they also walked off without talking my order but were then back 5 minutes later with a meal! Tempting to take it but I have allergies so they took it away and took awhile before they came back. To which each selection I made I was told I couldn't have. So I finally did what I should have done half an hour previously and walked out - the sad thing was they weren't surprised!
