Good mid price hotel

We couldn't find a huge choice of accommodation in Aurangabad which tended to be expensive international or budget. We eventually settled on the Gurjas as one of the only mid price hotels available. The staff were helpful and our A/C room was clean with a hard but comfortable bed. As is common there was no top sheet but we were brought a single towel, soap and toilet paper. There was even a small flat screen TV with satellite channels. The bathroom was clean with a nice hot shower which took a little while to run warm.
There's no restaurant but we phoned down to the kitchen to have our breakfast of fried eggs and buttered bread with black coffee brought to our room. There was a choice of mainly Indian breakfast items but also corn flakes. Nothing exciting but perfectly adequate.
The hotel arranged for a car to take us to Ellora Caves and the old fort. We could probably have busted more sites but choose just these two. The cost was a very reasonable 1450 Rs and the driver was fine. Typical Indian driving which may suprise Europeans but nothing exceptional.
We ate dinner at Swad, a vegetarian restaurant about 100m up the road where they offered a Thali as well as a choice of Indian meals and snacks.
Overall a very comfortable stay in a mid price hotel. Don't be unrealistic in your expectations and you'll be pleased enough.

I booked at Gurjas after reading the hotel review in TripAdvisor, though was a little apprehensive about the same.
However, the service at the hotel changed my entire perspective. Fantastic service!. Special thanks to Kailas for arranging everything for us. and to the Cab driver Vinod who escorted us to all prime places in Aurangabad and was very friendly.
Great job guys! Keep it up! :)
Really nice and friendly

My room was spacious and clean and good roomservice. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and especially the friendly staff (Kailash for example) who always were willing to help me out with anything!! Both Indians as foreigners stay at the hotel, so as a traveller I hooked up with other travellers. The hotel is good spot for travelling to Ellora and Ajanta caves. Best to take a rikshaw to the busstand from the hotel if you travel with public transport.
Incredibly helpful and friendly staff and an Excellent Value!

I stayed at Hotel Gurjas for over a week to explore Ellora and Ajunta Caves, and other nearby sites. The staff here are really awesome, super friendly, and very helpful!! They helped me countless times to figure out my transportation, find good restaurants, and keep me feeling safe during a local protest that kept me in the area for a few extra days. Their in house kitchen also prepares some really good food! My room was large and very clean with excellent amenities for comfort. The location is also convenient to many shops, restaurants, and transportation options. They also had strong WiFi! This place is an excellent value and an excellent choice for staying in Aurangabad. I highly recommend it!!!
Best Budget hotel I've ever stayed

I have travelled pan India and I must admit that this is one of the best budget hotels I've ever stayed in.
It is in the heart of the city with access to restaurants, medical stores, gift centers within 500 mtr. The rooms, bed and the bathrooms were impeccably clean. Hot water was available 24/7. Surprisingly all HD channels were available which is a rarity in a budget hotel like this.
There is a dedicated parking next to the hotel. Room service was on time, food was not all that bad.
The only problem I faced was the unavailability of lift. But that doesn't matter as staff helped me get my luggage to the room.
If I get a budget hotel like this everywhere, I will not look beyond. Great experience!!
