The services provided were really appreciative and exclusive. All travelling right from the sea port to the hotel itself & to neighbouring islands and hotels as well was excellently facilitated.

We booked two rooms for our friends and ourselves for the night before our flights home, on Booking.com for £75 per room. The guys from the Octave contacted our resort to confirm our seaplane arrival time in Male. We arrived at the airport and were met by a member of hotel staff, who helped with our luggage, accompanied us on the ferry, bought our ferry tickets for us, and then hailed taxis for us to get to the hotel - all paid for. All this could have been so daunting for first time visitors, but was taken care of for us.
When we arrived at the hotel we were served with cold towels and iced tea, whilst we filled in our guest registration forms (actually, they did most of it for us, we just had to fill in name and signature). Our luggage was taken to the rooms for us.
The rooms were well equipped, not luxurious but comfortable, and a good place to shower off and sleep. We were asked if we were hungry, told that the hotel restaurant was now closed, but that we could order room service and they'd let us sit in the restaurant to eat it. So we did. We got loads of food, it was delicious, and it cost around £30 per couple.
Then to bed for a great night's sleep. We were woken up with an alarm call at 6am, and could have had an early breakfast prepared specially for us, but we declined after having had so much food for dinner.
Our bags were collected from our room and taken to the lobby, and we all left (including our lovely hotel guide/courier). He got us a taxi, met us at the ferry terminal, and put us once again onto the ferry having bought our tickets and paid our taxi fare.
We arrived at the airport about 10 minutes before our checkin time.
I'd have no hesitation in recommending the Octave. It's not a luxury destination, but the service is superb, and diligent. If you want your stay in hectic Male to be as easy as possible, book this place.

Stayed here yesterday on business visit as it is close to my office. This is 3 star Hotel with specious rooms. In room minibar, tea maker etc are provided. Bathroom and rooms are clean. Do not stay in road facing side rooms as they are noicy. They provide packed breakfast and food is tasty overall worth the money you pay for short stay.

We landed quite late so decided to spend a night at male instead of going to the resort right away. We were picked up by the owner himself at the airport and showed us around. Himself and the staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel has an excellent location - right by the city center with pharmacy, restaurants and shops nearby.

This is a great small hotel close to the busy main road of Male (Majeedhee Magu) but at the same time out from the caos.
I have been here already 3 times and the staff at the hotel is always nice and attentive.
The rooms are small but very well cleaned and they provide for all the necessary amenities.
I will definitely come back .
