fantastic hotel, food great,room great, entertainment great. The location of the hotel is 5 minutes walk from the marina a really beautiful area then a nice walk into torremolenos with lots of cafes and bars especially the mombasa bar.

Stayed in the hotel during the middle of October.Good location for the marina which is lovely walk up from the hotel and you can get the local bus.The hotel its self is well maintained and clean .Meals are varied can be quite busy at times over all we enjoyed our stay

I was extremely excited at first to visit this hotel, as I had read not only good reviews about it but also thought that the pictures of it looked amazing! When I arrived, I was very impressed by how nicely the hotel looked, how nice the lobby was, how nice the staff were! The room was quite small, but I was completely satisfied with it and didn't have a problem. However, each day I started getting more and more bites on my legs that I assumed were mosquito bites, even though I had never been bitten by them before. I started to get worried, thinking maybe it was bedbugs, and I looked at reviews and I saw people complaining of bedbugs! I definitely think that this is what it was, as I only ever got new bites when I was in bed. During my stay, the ceiling in the bathroom started to leek really badly, and I noticed there was mould on the ceiling in the spot where it was leaking. I complained to the staff about it, and I was happy with the way they handled it as they were extremely nice. I also went as half board, and the food was never nice apart from one night that I went for dinner in the hotel! In hindsight, the hotel was definitely not clean; that's why I gave it 3 stars.
Despite this, there were many pros to my stay and I had a happy time staying there as the pool area was stunning and the pool a perfect temperature, the bar area was so pretty, and the general style of the hotel was beautiful!
The biggest pro in my opinion, however, is the location, as it is near absolutely everything! The Marina is down the street, the 24 hour square at the top of the street, a Burger King close by, and a bus stop! It is definitely the best location if you are thinking of staying in Benalmádena.

Visited in July 2017 with my 13 year old son. On arrival the check in staff were friendly and very helpful, and spoke perfect English. Our room was clean and tidy, with air con, and a balcony - overlooking the road but I could have paid extra for a pool view but I knew we wouldn't be in the room much so didn't see the point. We stayed bed and breakfast and the choice was exceptional, covered all nationalities tastes and there was always tables available. Again the waiting staff were all very friendly. The pool was a freshwater pool and a good size - not suitable for diving though as it isn't that deep.....as one poor fellow found out ! There's still the old 'putting towels on beds' going on. For example we came down to the pool at about 10.30am and most of them were 'taken'. We had our lilos to lie on so we weren't that bothered, but had spotted two beds with a parasol and table which we still empty an hour and half later. Some other English guests said that a Spanish family had placed their towels on there at 9am and vanished. I took the towels off and used the beds myself. The Spanish family didn't return until 5pm !! Disgraceful. so just keep this in mind, there are signs stating that towels will be removed by staff but they don't do this so you end up doing it yourself and potentially end up having an argument !! The bar staff on the evening were great and the night time entertainment was the usual fayre. The location of the hotel was perfect, a two minute walk to the marina where all the restaurants and shops are. I loved this hotel and would definitely return, one of the main reasons being that it was filled with couple and families - no groups! There are no nightclubs nearby so I think it puts them off staying!

Went last week in October. Weather was excellent but much of the pool was in shade. The hotel was nice for a 3 star. Pool area very pretty and nice outside bar area. Dining staff were attentive and food very nice except the machine coffee at breakfast which was cheap and nasty quality. One machine got refilled with better coffee which proved it could have had better offered all along. Entertainment was entertaining. The beach was a 5 min walk and excellent. The marina right across but was tacky and resembled a revamped ex fairground. Shops and resturants rubbish and you get hasseled non stop by the same people doin promo for their average resturants. Boat trip was fun on the 'Black Pearl'. Hotel nice enough to spend time at to avoid the marina tho!
