When you check all the major hotel booking sites- except booking.com, they are the clever ones- you can make a booking for hotel Palms/Palms hotel/ at Jaipur. We made our booking for 26-12 till 29-12 2017 thru hotel.com, 2 luxury rooms, 4 nights, and paid 190 euroos in advance. When we arrived, we were directed to Oyo Hotel, which is in front of Palms hotel, because 'palms hotel was in renovation' ( read ' locked and closed') and Oyo-hotel was taking care of hotel Palms' business. At Oyo we were told that our booking plus advance payment had not been received. They could not help us. We searched in the neighbourhood for another place to sleep- it was late at night- and found the 'evergreen guesthouse'- old and dilapedated. The next day we saw that on one of the windows of this 'evergreen guesthouse' was written 'palms hotel' and we asked about this. They told us that before, it had been called 'palms hotel', until the new Palms hotel had been built- that's the one that is now locked and closed. And that evergreen, Oyo and Palms all had the same owner. Ofcourse we tried to talk to this owner, but he was never available. We contacted 'hotel.com' to get our money back and they are starting an investigation. Juicy detail: whenwe arrived at Evergreen guesthouse, and before realising it was the old Palms Hotel, we had to fill in 2 seperate forms at the check-inn. I now suspect that one of these check-inn forms is being used for the, not longer excisting, Palms hotel. This is a review to warn other travellers!

Rooms are bad with stinky bathrooms ,no lift for one section of rooms. Bed sheets and Rajai gave foul smell. Expect for an OK type of breakfast and location it's a big waste. For hot water we should open the tap and waste 5buckets of water.

Location is very good...In the centre of the city...Many options for food near the hotel in case u don't like hotel food. Hotel restaurant is ok. ...At reception desk u will find tour guide and he is a nice guy... Provide u all details about Jaipur and u can hire taxi with him.rooms are good.. upto 3 star property... Cleanliness maintained..

Jaipur is probably my favorite city in India. This a a great budget/ medium range hotel to stay in. It is the 6th year in a row that we have stayed in it. A testimony in itself. It is a short walk from the Pink City and all the city palaces. It has a beautiful Central courtyard garden with Palm trees and a terrace restaurant overlooking it. Its my favorite place for a banana pancake and coffee for breakfast. This restaurant is much quieter than the main one on the ground floor and a good place to chat and relax.
The rooms were big and well aired. The bedding was clean and fresh. My wife's no 1 priority! There was plenty of hot water each morning and the bathroom was clean and modern. The staff are always friendly and helpful. There is a good travel desk to sort out any trips you want to arrange. Or just catch an auto outside and get them to take you on a tour of all the sites. I recommend it.

Stayed here for 1 night on business travel. Hotel is centrally located among a number of bank branches about 3 - 4 kms from airport.
Breakfast Buffet - Excellent. Have 4 - 5 items on menu.
Onsite Restaurant - I think there are 2 restaurants on premises. The one next to reception closes at 10:30 PM. Cleanliness and Taste are reasonable.
Staff - Courteous and helpful.
Travel Desk - Courteous and helpful.
